Based on recent customer reviews, experiences at Master Wok are mixed, with a significant concern raised regarding food safety. One reviewer described their experience as a "disaster" and expressed their intention to file complaints with health and food safety authorities, the mall administration, and the Better Business Bureau. This customer reported finding a bone in their chicken dish, which they highlighted as a severe choking hazard and indicative of a lack of proper quality control. They also stated that their chicken broccoli dish was not fresh, tasted "off," and appeared to have been sitting for a long time, leading them to discard the meal due to potential health risks, especially for their child.

The same reviewer strongly urged future customers to exercise extreme caution and called for a thorough inspection and evaluation of Master Wok's food preparation practices, emphasizing the importance of food freshness and safety.

In contrast, another reviewer offered a more positive, albeit comparative, perspective. They mentioned Master Wok as a "great alternative" to a nearby restaurant that was under renovation. This customer found the chicken to be a bit sweeter but enjoyable, and reported no complaints from their niece and nephew.

Overall, the recent feedback for Master Wok presents a serious food safety concern alongside a more neutral experience. The presence of a bone in a chicken dish and the serving of stale food are significant issues raised by one customer, while another found some of the food to be an acceptable alternative to another establishment. For local users in US seeking a Chinese restaurant, the recent reviews for Master Wok in Bridgewater, NJ, suggest a potential risk regarding food safety and freshness that should be carefully considered. While one reviewer found some dishes palatable, the serious allegations from another warrant caution. No information regarding the environment, specific services, unique features, or promotional offers is available in these reviews beyond the mention of it being located in the Bridgewater Commons mall.

***SERIOUS FOOD SAFETY CONCERN- REQUIRES IMMEDIATE RESOLUTION*** I regret to say that my experience at Master Wok Chinese Food in Bridgewater Commons mall was nothing short of a disaster. I feel compelled to share my unfortunate encounter to warn future patrons and express my deep concern for the safety of others, especially those with children. I must stress that this review is not to be taken lightly, as I intend to file complaints with the Department of Health and Food Safety Department, the Commons Mall administration, and the Better Business Bureau. First and foremost, the chicken dish I ordered contained a bone, posing a severe choking hazard. As a responsible consumer, I expect restaurants to prioritize food safety, and this incident was completely unacceptable. The lack of proper quality control and attention to detail is concerning. I shudder to think that someone else might experience a similar mishap, more vulnerable children. Furthermore, the chicken broccoli dish I ordered was far from fresh. The taste was off, and it was evident that the food had been sitting for an extended period. As a result, I was forced to discard the entire meal due to concerns about its freshness and potential hazards to my child's health. It is deeply troubling that a restaurant would serve food that is not only unappetizing but also potentially unsafe to consume. Master Wok Chinese Food must be subject to a thorough inspection and evaluation of their food preparation practices. Their lack of adherence to proper protocols for ensuring food freshness and safety violates the trust we place in them as consumers. I strongly urge the relevant authorities to take action, including imposing fines and penalties, to ensure that this establishment rectifies its shortcomings. In conclusion, my experience at Master Wok Chinese Food was a disappointing one, marred by a bone in the chicken dish and the serving of stale food. I implore future customers to exercise extreme caution and consider the potential risks of dining at this establishment. Your health and safety should never be compromised, and I sincerely hope that my review serves as a wake-up call for Master Wok and prompts them to take immediate corrective measures.

This place is a great alternative to Sakura Japan which is currently being renovated. The chicken is a bit sweeter, but I enjoyed it. No complaints from my niece and nephew.

Delicious Chinese food. Love the orange chicken, general tso and lo mein. Good price and deal for what you get. I believe 10 for 2 choice combo with side. Cheap compared to other places in the mall. Will come to the mall just for this place. Very good.

Got food poisoning after eating their food last night. I had the fried rice, bourbon chicken, chicken & broccoli, and vegetable/potato medley. Food was likely old and sitting out for long. Be careful!
