Maru Sushi Korean Grill

**HIDDEN GEM** I used to live in Japan and this place is a hidden gem for Korean food. Love the food and love the place. I am so surprised more people don’t talk about this place. They had you a sampler plate as an appetiser and you never seem to wait long for your food. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

First off the waitress is rude and has no business in customer service. 2nd the chicken bulgogi was rubber and after my husband ate it, cause he was starving I tried it. It taste off. Now I’m waiting to see if he’s sick later. I’m so pissed right now. I will never come back here again. The rest of the food was mid at best.

The Sam-gyub Sal and Beef Bulgogi Special were delicious!

Went on Sunday when they have all day happy hour. Pricing was good for the happy hour with discounts ranging from $1.50 to $4.00 (Less if its the nigiri). The calamari and dumplings were a win for me. The Korean pancake was well received. I liked the Korean side dishes a lot. I felt the rolls were ok. I didn't realize most of what we were ordering was deep fried though and I'm not the biggest fan of that. For happy hour price I'd give this a 4/5. Parking is easy with a large lot.

Very inattentive waitress at lunch. Otherwise it was very good. Note to waitress - get off your phone. The sushi chef should not have to get your attention. And saying "bye!" loud on my way out was sarcastic feeling when you were not friendly or attentive the entire time I was there.
