First visit to Maroon Girl. Can’t wait to come back. Had lunch for two - chicken curry and chicken stew. So very full of flavor with just the right spice kick. We like the vibe which is simple but homey. Happy to find this bit of Carribbean culture in the area.

This was our first time visiting, and we got the curry goat dinner and the oxtail dinner. It was so good! My husband doesn't normally finish everything on his plate, but he couldn't resist. The food was so fresh and flavorful, best Jamaican food I've had in a while. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, even bringing over a sample of the house made non-alcoholic sorel! We ate in, which made the wait a bit longer as there were multiple take out orders, but otherwise it was a really great experience. I also bought a chicken curry patty with coco bread for lunch today 😋😋

This is a wonderful addition to the area. We tried the patties yesterday for a quick snack - SO GOOD! We lived in crown heights for many years and missed our amazing spot, but now we are covered. Im so glad they have a wide selection of vegan/veggie patties! 👌🏻 The employees (may have been the owner or manager) were super nice. They gave us a sample of the veggie curry and wow it was delicious. Can’t wait to go here and get the veggie plate for dinner sometime. Needless to say we will be back. I highly recommend it!

I was so excited to get Jamaican food but quickly regretted the decision. The service was top notch with the warm greetings by both the cashier and the person who might have been the chef. The food looked great especially with the portion but the fish was old. Not spoiled but old. It was hard and felt as if it had been cooked at least 24 hours before. I would’ve waited more time for a fresh fry. The sauce/seasoning was good but that’s it. Disappointed I spent what I did to get old food.

A+ customer service, Rich always goes above and beyond to make things right he is beyond awesome! the company needs to utilize him in staff training of all and any employees moving forward, his attention to detail, customer service, and genuine concern for the company's reputation are extremely commendable, he is what Maroon Girl Jamaican Cuisine is truly about. The selections are fantastic but sell out fast most times. Every single meal is cooked with care and compassion. You can't beat the quality or the prices or delivery speed as compared to the competition. Maroon Girl wins hands down! Man those oxtails! delicious!
