This was our first time at Manna in San Marcos, and the entire experience was fantastic. Our servers were super friendly and helpful as we prepared unfamiliar dishes. Our youngest son celebrated his 26th birthday and is not big on birthday songs. However, the two ladies that came by to sing were having such fun with it that they had us all laughing! The food was very good, and we enjoyed all of their recommendations! We got there around 5 pm, so it wasn't crowded. It would not have been as fun if the room had been full. So, I recommend getting there before the dinner rush, especially if you're new to Korean BBQ!

Its hard to get extra napkins, clean utensil. But they good at refill our water 🤣 before we ask. Every times order only 5 items. Corn cheese and steam egg is our favorite. Bulgogi is good, baby octopus really not our 😬. Its fishy even after deep it in the sauce. Hawaian pork belly is better than garlic pork belly. La galbi is good. Salad is good. Never get our lettuce wrap. Manna steak hard to chew maybe because we cooked it well done. Overall is good.

We visit this restaurant at least a couple of times a year, since we find it to be the best Korean barbecue in north county. It is always busy and often with long waiting times, the restaurant is quite packed and loud, but the food is good and the selection of banchan is usually varied. I wish it was possible to reserve a table, since we have turned around numerous times due to the long waiting times. Still, I would recommend visiting for a good Korean barbecue experience.
