Manhattan Gyros & Subs

This place is legit. I ordered a lamb gyro from the drive thru—the service was excellent and the food came out quick. I was planning on taking the gyro home and eating it there but figured one bite wouldn’t hurt. After one bite, I parked in the lot and devoured the whole thing in 5 minutes. They have the best gyro in Gainesville in my opinion, and it’s one of the cheaper ones. I’ll be back soon. Update: I came back to dine in this time. I didn’t think this place could get any better, until I tried the fries.

It looks kind of sketchy on the outside, but don't let that stop you! Inside was clean, the food was great, and the service was very friendly. They have a large menu so you're sure to find something you like. We had the lamb gyro combo and some gizzards. The gyros are packed full of meat! You definitely get your money's worth. The fries have a slight seafood taste- probably cooked in the same oil. It didn't bother us, but it might not be for everyone. The gizzards tasted fresh and were seasoned well. Overall absolutely would recommend

I seldom leave reviews. But this was litterally so bad i didnt have a choice. The "sub" had no cheese and only a singular slice of what appears to be the cheapest turkey they could find. The wait was long. The order was wrong. And the quality of the food was legitimately the worst ive ever seen; not hyperbole actually the worst. There was no redeeming qualities. And at 19 dollars for two subs that are basically bread only is ridiculous.

A quiet location has a loud taste! My friend told me about this place over a year ago and I finally got a chance to go. Man was I happy! I ordered the lamb gyro along with some chicken wings, buffalo shrimp and fries. Everything was fresh, made to order. I only have a picture of the lamb gyro cause the other food didn't make it and I was traveling at the moment. Lol

I can’t understate how amazing this place is. It’s in an odd part of town but is absolutely worth the drive. The menu is super expansive and everything is amazingly priced for the quality of the food. I’ve been here twice now, and both times got the #1 gyro combo. It comes with fries and a massive gyro for only $12. I couldn’t believe the price for the portion size, but i’m not complaining at all. The meat was extremely tender and well seasoned, and the fries also had a seasoning which was great. It’s the best greek food i’ve had in my 5 years in gainesville and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
