Mandarin Taste

First time there and was recommended by a friend. Food was excellent. Portions are huge and they accommodated 20 people quickly for us on short notice. Next time in Canton we will eat there again!!

Overall good food. Although the portion sizes of some of the dishes were very small, the flavors and the aroma is definitely authentic oriental chinese food. The service was quick and efficient. They have a restroom and there is sufficient parking. This place is suitable for couples, groups, and families alike.

At first we were concerned because we were the only table in the restaurant . The service was well and the atmosphere was welcoming. The reastursnt appeared clean . The food was okay , nothing special . The pork soup dumplings were terrible . 0/10 recommend . They tasted like they had went bad the second the went into my mouth . I could not even swallow them . I don’t think I would come again because the food didn’t at all impress me .

A friend recommended this place. She has been here many times in the past. We were there about 3 and got lunch meals. Soup was not hot at all. Our meals looked good but were not very hot as I would have expected. Service was ok and prices were not bad. I did notice other patrons getting their food and seeing smoke coming off of them. The suace on my meat dish was very oily tasting, and one of the side apps seemed old and not freshly cooked. Could be the time we went, but I will not be returning.

Very disappointed. I ordered General Tso's Shrimp and got chicken instead but didn't realize it until I drove a whole 40 minutes back home. I don't eat chicken (it makes me very sick), and therefore had to throwaway the food instead . What's worse is I put the order in online, and not on the phone, so there's no possibility of misunderstanding the order on the phone. If you order the food online, be sure to pick it up, but check the actual food in the restaurant before leaving. Clearly the people working there are not careful.
