About Mandarin Lowell

Welcome to Mandarin Lowell, your local Chinese restaurant situated at 1590 Middlesex St in the city of Lowell, Massachusetts. As a valued member of the Chinese Restaurant category, Mandarin Lowell is dedicated to providing a satisfying culinary experience with a range of Chinese-American dishes. For residents of Lowell and those in the surrounding areas seeking flavorful Asian cuisine, Mandarin Lowell offers a convenient location for both dining in and taking away.

Based on the limited review information available, specific details regarding the ambiance and décor of Mandarin Lowell are not extensively described. However, the positive feedback suggests a welcoming environment where customers can enjoy their meals comfortably. While one review mentions stopping by for dinner, implying a dine-in option, the primary focus of the available comments is on the quality and taste of the food itself.

Similarly, detailed information about the services offered beyond food preparation and service is not provided in the reviews. However, the fact that customers have dined in and also presumably have the option for takeout indicates that Mandarin Lowell likely offers standard restaurant services to accommodate different preferences. To gain a comprehensive understanding of their services, such as delivery options, reservation policies, or any specific accommodations, it would be best to contact Mandarin Lowell directly.

The limited customer feedback does shed some light on the features of Mandarin Lowell's cuisine. One standout feature appears to be their house fried rice, which one reviewer enthusiastically declared as "the best I have had," even prompting them to consider Mandarin Lowell as their new go-to place despite living in New Hampshire. This strongly suggests that their fried rice is a signature dish and a point of pride for the restaurant.

Another notable feature mentioned is their sweet & sour sauce, which is described as tasting "like homemade." This implies a focus on fresh, quality ingredients and a potentially unique recipe that sets it apart from standard, commercially produced sauces. For those who appreciate a well-made sweet & sour sauce, this could be a significant draw.

The review also touches upon the chicken teriyaki sticks, noting a "maple brown sugar flavor" that might differ from the traditional teriyaki taste some customers expect. While this wasn't to the reviewer's personal preference, it highlights a potentially unique flavor profile in one of their dishes. It's important to note individual taste preferences can vary, and this particular flavor might appeal to other diners.

In terms of pricing, one reviewer commented that the prices were "average for today's economy," suggesting that Mandarin Lowell offers reasonably priced meals in line with current market standards. This can be an important consideration for local users seeking good value for their money when dining out or ordering food.

Unfortunately, the provided information does not include any specific promotional details. Local users interested in potential discounts, special offers, or any loyalty programs should contact Mandarin Lowell directly at (978) 459-1800 or +1 978-459-1800. Inquiring about daily specials or any ongoing promotions could enhance your dining experience and provide added value.

In summary, based on the available information, Mandarin Lowell in Lowell, MA, is a Chinese restaurant that appears to be particularly well-regarded for its house fried rice and homemade sweet & sour sauce. While details about the ambiance and full range of services are limited, the positive review suggests a focus on flavorful food. The pricing is considered average for the current economic climate. For local users in Lowell seeking a reliable Chinese restaurant, especially those who appreciate exceptional fried rice and a potentially unique sweet & sour sauce, Mandarin Lowell is a place worth considering. We recommend contacting them directly for more information about their menu, hours, and any current promotions.

Not a big fan of the chicken teriyaki sticks. They're more of a maple brown sugar flavor... Overall, good food. Good portions. Flavorful rice. Tastes like homemade sweet & sour sauce. Average price for today's economy...

Stopped here for dinner because of reviews and was not disappointed. Everything I had was the best I have had. Especially the house fried rice! My new go to place even if I live in NH.

We’ve been loyal customers of this restaurant for years because the food is consistently great. However, the quality of their delivery service is completely unacceptable and undermines their reputation. The delivery drivers have a habit of banging on our door so hard that it startles everyone in the house. This has happened multiple times, and we’ve brought it up with the drivers each time. Unfortunately, during the most recent delivery, instead of acknowledging our concerns, the driver became aggressive, yelling and cursing at us. While my husband’s tone may have been firm, there is absolutely no excuse for a delivery driver to respond with such unprofessional behavior. It’s not just inappropriate—it’s completely unacceptable. If you work in a customer-facing position, courtesy is non-negotiable. To the restaurant: it’s time to reevaluate who you’re hiring as the face of your business. Your food is amazing, but your delivery service drags down the overall experience. You should be ashamed of this level of service.
