About Mandarin Kitchen

Mandarin Kitchen is a Chinese restaurant located at 2526 Torrance Blvd in Torrance, California, USA. They can be contacted at (310) 320-2888 or +1 310-320-2888.

This Chinese restaurant appears to offer delicious food at affordable prices, according to one customer. They highlighted the orange chicken lunch special, which includes soup, a spring roll, and a fortune cookie for $9.99. The service was also described as "super fast and good," leading to the reviewer's intention to return.

However, another customer reported a negative experience regarding their order and the restaurant's handling of the issue. They stated that they received a seafood soup instead of the wonton soup they ordered. Upon returning the following day with the intact order, packaging, and receipt, they claimed that the restaurant refused to compensate them or provide a new dish. This customer, who identified themselves as a loyal customer of over two years, expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the service and stated they would not return, warning others about "worst service ever" and "ruthless" behavior.

Based on these reviews, Mandarin Kitchen offers food that some customers find delicious and well-priced, particularly the lunch specials. However, there is a significant concern raised about their customer service and how order errors are handled, which potential customers should be aware of.

For the most current menu and any potential promotions, it is recommended to contact Mandarin Kitchen directly at the provided phone numbers or visit their location. It may also be prudent to double-check your order upon receipt to avoid potential issues.

I ordered a wonton soup and got a seafood soup. Instead, I return the following day they refused to compensate me or give me a new dish, I will never return again. I’ve been a loyal customer for over two years now with multiple orders, this is how they treat loyalty, I brought everything back intact with package and receipt in hand, these people are ruthless, buyer beware. Worst service ever.

I had consider this restaurant as one of the best Chinese food I had but no more, the food was not freshly made and it lacked flavor, the wontons were cold and rubbery, I will not comeback.

This place has been around for so many years, which is usually a sign of a great restaurant, especially in this economy! Anyway, we've been coming here for years, longer than we've even lived in Torrance, everyone loves the food whenever we get it. They have the best Szechuan eggplant I've probably ever had, as well as great soups, eggrolls, and the different chicken dishes we've tried are always just as good! Szechuan chicken, Kung pao chicken, and they have a very unique teriyaki chicken, which is actually really good also!

I tried both the hot and sour soup and the egg drop soup, and they were absolutely delicious! The hot and sour soup had the perfect balance of tang and heat, while the egg drop soup was rich with plenty of eggs—definitely a step above other Chinese restaurants in the area. Both the Mongolian beef and Mongolian chicken were incredibly tender and packed with flavor. The cream cheese wontons and shrimp chicken egg rolls were outstanding—perfectly crispy on the outside with a savory, handmade filling. The food came out quickly, with a fantastic ‘wok hei’ aroma, and the service was warm and attentive. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes!
