About Manchu Wok

Welcome to Manchu Wok, your local Chinese restaurant situated at a convenient location near Gate A5 of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, specifically at 17801 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98158, USA. As a Chinese restaurant within the broader platform category, Manchu Wok aims to provide a range of Chinese culinary options for local users and travelers alike. Whether you are a resident of SeaTac, a visitor passing through, or someone working in the vicinity, Manchu Wok offers a readily accessible spot for your Chinese food cravings.

Manchu Wok can be contacted via phone at (206) 248-2800 or through their mobile number at +1 206-248-2800. Feel free to reach out to them for inquiries about their menu, services, or for placing orders.

Based on available customer feedback, Manchu Wok appears to offer quick service, which can be particularly appealing for those with limited time, such as travelers at the airport. One reviewer mentioned receiving their "garden plate" promptly, highlighting the efficiency of their service. This suggests that Manchu Wok is likely equipped to handle orders in a timely manner, making it a suitable option for a quick meal.

The portion sizes at Manchu Wok seem to be considered respectable by at least one customer. This indicates that you can expect a decent amount of food for your order, potentially offering good value, especially for those seeking a filling meal.

However, the reviews also provide some insights into the food quality and taste. One customer found the noodles in their garden plate to be somewhat underdone. This is a point to consider if noodles are a significant part of your meal preference. Another reviewer described the rice as "nothing to write home about," suggesting it might be a standard, unremarkable side dish.

The vegetable selection in the garden plate, as mentioned by a customer, included broccoli, cabbage, zucchini, and celery. These were noted to be hot and seemingly fresh, which are positive aspects. However, the same reviewer felt that the vegetables "lacked deep flavour." This suggests that while the ingredients might be of decent quality and properly prepared in terms of temperature and freshness, the overall taste profile might be somewhat mild or lacking in complexity.

Another customer had a less favorable experience with the lo mein and honey ginger chicken, stating that it "really just tasted like it was coated in sugar." This feedback indicates a potential issue with the balance of flavors in some of their dishes, possibly leaning too heavily on sweetness. The fact that the customer discarded half of their $18 meal suggests a significant dissatisfaction with the taste.

Considering these points, Manchu Wok appears to be a convenient option for those seeking a quick and reasonably portioned Chinese meal, particularly due to its location near the airport. However, it's important to be aware that some customers have noted issues with the taste and texture of certain dishes. If you are on a tight budget and time schedule, as one reviewer mentioned, Manchu Wok could be a viable option. However, if you prioritize complex and nuanced flavors in your Chinese cuisine, you might want to consider these reviews when making your decision.

Manchu Wok likely operates primarily as a takeout and potentially a dine-in establishment, given its location and the nature of the reviews focusing on the food and service aspects rather than ambiance or extensive dining experience. It's common for restaurants in or near airports to cater to travelers needing quick meals to take on the go or eat before their flights.

To get a more comprehensive understanding of Manchu Wok's offerings, it would be beneficial to inquire about their full menu, including the variety of dishes they offer beyond the garden plate and the lo mein with honey ginger chicken mentioned in the reviews. You might also want to ask about their preparation methods or any signature dishes they are known for.

As an objective introduction based on the limited information available, Manchu Wok presents itself as a conveniently located Chinese restaurant in SeaTac, particularly accessible to those near Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. They seem to prioritize speed of service and offer respectable portion sizes. However, customer feedback suggests potential inconsistencies in food quality and flavor profiles, with some dishes receiving criticism for being undercooked or overly sweet. It is recommended that potential customers consider these factors and perhaps inquire further about specific dishes before placing their orders.

For local users in SeaTac and the surrounding areas, Manchu Wok offers a readily available option for Chinese cuisine, especially when convenience and speed are priorities. While the reviews provide a glimpse into some customers' experiences, your own experience may vary. Exploring their menu and perhaps trying a few different items could help you determine if Manchu Wok meets your expectations for Chinese food.

Stopped by near Gate A5. Got the garden plate. Service was fast and portion was respectable, but noodles tasted somewhat underdone. Rice was nothing to write home about. Veggies were broccoli, cabbage, zucchini, and celery. All were hot and seemingly fresh, but lacked deep flavour. Would eat again if on a tight budget and time schedule.

Really just tasted like it was coated in sugar. Tossed it about half way in despite paying $18 for lo mein and honey ginger chicken

The food was decent but not great, it's airport food. The ladies were friendly, fast and helpful.

The food here was hot and flavorful. I had the garlic chicken and the beef and broccoli. The fried rice was also good. The garlic chicken had a Lot of sauce on it, and was a little sugary for my taste but hit the spot after a late night before a cross country flight. Prices were reasonable VS other options in the airport. I guess don't expect it to be amazing, but it was filling with large portions.

I am no expert, and the food overall tasted good to me. Service was decent. Bought a chicken wok box with fried rice and a veggie egg roll for $14. For a box of that size, it felt like it was a few dollars more expensive than if I had eaten elsewhere. Still a fair deal. I might come back if the other places are full.
