Welcome to Mama Tang Restaurant, a Chinese restaurant situated at 3482 Elm Springs Rd in Springdale, Arkansas. As a valued member of the Chinese Restaurant platform category, Mama Tang Restaurant offers a variety of Chinese dishes to the local community, primarily focusing on providing convenient and high-quality takeout services, although dine-in options may also be available. This category typically includes establishments that serve cooked Chinese cuisine, featuring a range of options from rice and noodle dishes to various vegetable, meat, and seafood preparations.

Based on the available customer reviews, Mama Tang Restaurant has garnered positive feedback, particularly regarding the quality and taste of its food, as well as the efficiency of its takeout service. One reviewer who placed a to-go order on January 1st reported that their food was ready quickly and remained "very hot" by the time they arrived home. This suggests that Mama Tang Restaurant prioritizes prompt service and ensures that the food is well-packaged for takeout, maintaining its temperature during transit.

A standout dish mentioned in the reviews is the orange chicken. One customer specifically praised that it is made with "real orange," distinguishing it from the "synthetic fake stuff from other places." This indicates a commitment to using higher-quality, natural ingredients, which can significantly enhance the flavor and overall satisfaction of the dish. For orange chicken enthusiasts in the Springdale area, Mama Tang Restaurant appears to be a noteworthy option.

Another highly praised item is the "chicken on a stick." The reviewer described it as having a "simple name" but being cooked "to perfection," with a crispy exterior and a juicy interior. They also noted a "light seasoning" that they couldn't quite identify, adding to the intrigue and appeal of this dish. This positive feedback suggests that even seemingly simple items on the menu are prepared with care and attention to detail, making them memorable for customers.

While the overall experience was positive for this reviewer, they did mention one minor drawback: the Mongolian chicken was "a little oily." This provides an objective perspective, acknowledging that not every dish might be perfect for every individual's preference. However, this was the only negative point in an otherwise glowing review, indicating that the majority of their order was excellent and that they would "definitely be back."

Another customer echoed the positive sentiments, stating that they "love the Crab Rangoon and Orange chicken." This reinforces the popularity of the orange chicken and introduces another highly recommended appetizer, the Crab Rangoon. They also mentioned that "the noodles are really good too," suggesting that noodle dishes are another strength of Mama Tang Restaurant. This reviewer gave the restaurant a 5/5 rating for "atmosphere" specifically in the context of takeout, explaining that they have never dined inside but find the experience perfect for taking food to go. This implies that Mama Tang Restaurant is well-suited for those who prefer to enjoy their Chinese meals at home.

The same reviewer further praised the "food, service, and speed" of Mama Tang Restaurant as "great!" This aligns with the other review highlighting the fast preparation of takeout orders. The combined feedback suggests that Mama Tang Restaurant excels in providing efficient and friendly service, especially for customers opting for takeout.

Based on the information provided, Mama Tang Restaurant seems to focus primarily on takeout service, although the possibility of dine-in is not explicitly ruled out. In terms of features, Mama Tang Restaurant stands out for its commitment to fresh ingredients, as evidenced by the "real orange" in their orange chicken. Placed a togo order on January 1st. Ready fast, and everything was still very hot when I got home. The orange chicken has real orange. Not the synthetic fake stuff from other places. One of the best surprises was chicken on a stick. Such a simple name, and they were cooked to perfection. Crispy outside, juicy inside. Light seasoning, I couldn't pinpoint. The Mongolian chicken was a little oily and was the only negative. Over all things we're great and we will definitely be back

We love the Crab Rangoon and Orange chicken. The noodles are really good too. The food, service, and speed is great! I’m giving them a 5/5 for atmosphere, because I always get takeout and the atmosphere is perfect for that. To be honest, I have never dined inside.

I am from out of town and wanted to try somewhere new for lunch. My wife had Orange Chicken, and I had the Mongolian Beef. Portion size for both dishes were large. I was initially shocked to see the fried crispy noodles under the entree, but found the texture and taste to be quite enjoyable.

Arrived around 7:15 with two kids ready to eat after a long day of after school activities. Google advertises they’re open until 9 so we chose this restaurant. When we walked in the handwritten board says dining open until 8pm but the lady at the counter said dining room closed at 7:30 and that wasn’t enough time but we could get takeout. If you are in the restaurant business you should accept customers until closing time. If you your dining room closes at 7:30, you seat customers until 7:30. If you’re open until 9, you take orders until 8:59. I would be shocked if the business owner would willingly turn down a sale and future business over 15 minutes when they’re paying the same staff to work the counter and she could fully do so while serving one table. Will likely not go back despite the food being pleasant.

Ordered out l, part of my order was wrong, but it was by far the best Chinese food in the area. Sweet and sour chicken was amazing, general sao was excellent as well. Got full before trying the soup but I’m betting it’s really good. Keep up the good work guys!
