大四喜Mala Town

Tried Mala Town today for the first time and I enjoyed my experience! The restaurant is nicely decorated, clean, and the menus are extremely easy to read/understand. The prices are fair and the amount of food I got in my customized bowl was great. If you're craving hotpot, a custom noodle bowl can help that craving! We also got the pork soup dumplings. The skin is a bit thick but the pork and soup inside was flavorful and they did give the black vinegar and ginger to accompany it.

Words of caution: if you are not into spicy food like me, this is not a place for you. Guess what, my wife does and here we were with two of our kids in tow. Staff was very accommodating, and she gave our kids a plate of fried sweet potato balls on the house. BTW, did I mention my kids couldn’t stomach the hot and spicy food as well. Anyway, as good as a model husband that I was, I was there just for a little bite after work. 麻辣烫， which translates into “tongue-tingling, spicy pot” that was filled with skewers of meats, shrimps, tofu and veg was pretty good. The broth was appetizing. The Thai ice-tea was descent. Coconut pudding was sweet and decadent. Overall, my kids and I was enjoying hanging out with their mom, which was needless to say happy to be there the whole time.

They offer a 10% discount for students, and if you purchase any of the $13.99 noodles, you can get Thai iced tea for just a $1.

A decent restaurant, the staff is sweet and lovely. They give us a student discount like 10 percent off if you have student ID. The food at the restaurant is not really authentic but good enough for us to enjoy. Me and my friend order a bunch of stuff and the price came out least than 100 dollars for four people so the price is good.

The restaurant is very clean and causal place. It is good for hang out with friends. We ordered Petan Tofu and cucumbers. Both are very tasty. Especially sauce are delicious. Also we ordered noodles. There is a menu you can customize noddle, soup and ingredients. Some of them are I have not eaten. It was really fun to challenge something new. If you are not good at spicy food. Don’t worry!! There is a non-spicy soup.
