This was soooo fire oh my god throwing loved the Dan Dan noodles, cucumber in oil and pepper chicken. The scallion pancakes were some of the best I’ve ever had. Service was so nice and quick. No frills at this place but you don’t really need it with food this good.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Speaking as someone who frequents the more authentic Chinese cuisines, this is an amazing restaurant! Very clean, the fried chicken is not oily, the flavor is on point, not salty, but excellent overall. The spicy chicken is very crunchy and amazing, and I highly recommend their egg drop soup also. Thanks for the great dining experience! The attached photos are of their dine-in lunch specials, which are HUGE portions with rice and a side of soup.
Overall a pretty good place, but I had expected more given the website and hype around the mala project. The mapo tofu, which is one of my favorite dishes of all time, is authentic and done well. The appetizer, beef and tripe was about average. The white rice was dry and overcooked. The peppers with chicken was below average. Strangely it had a heavy dough as if they were making popcorn chicken. The service was very friendly. I wouldn't mind eating here again but I wouldn't go out of my way.
Came specifically to try Sichuan cuisine when I saw the high ratings and was very impressed with the food as well as service! It is very authentic so be sure to request the least amount of spiciness level if you cannot take spicy food! My 22 months old toddler love the food too! Thanks and we will come again! ❤️❤️
It was our first time dining here. We went during lunch so got one of their lunch specials- pepper chicken served with brown rice and a choice of spring rolls. We also got chicken in hot sauce with white rice. The service was quick and servers were warm and friendly. The food tasted good. Wasn’t as spicy as they mentioned on the menu. The hot sauce chicken was tooooooo oily and I felt nauseated after a while from all the oil. The pepper chicken had too many sichuan peppers which left a weird after taste.
