Fell into a major food coma after our very hearty breakfast here. The biscuit and the honey butter paired together was so delectable. They are pretty accommodating here for small or larger parties and sat us quickly on a Saturday morning. I definitely want to come back and try more items from the menu. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals and then some!

Food was delicious. We got the biscuit sampler, cinnamon swirl French toast, and the pancakes. There was a long wait to get our food, our biscuits not as warm as I thought they were going to be, they were more dry and crumbly than I thought they’d be and they came out with our meal I don’t know why I was expecting them to come out first and there were large black flies buzzing around and landing on our table, the walls etc😖

My daughter and I stopped here on a whim on a rainy day. We got a table right away even though it was crowded. We had an excellent and friendly server. I had the breakfast biscuit with two scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and homemade honey butter. My daughter had a biscuit with crab cake and homemade potato chips. She was able to get her crab cake without mayo. The biscuits were good sized and the eggs were delicious. Good homemade ice tea as well. We saw other lunches - biscuits and gravy, fried chicken and the portions looked really generous.

Our first visit to the restaurant was an interesting experience. The four of us enjoyed our food and our server was pleasant. We discussed coming back again in the near future. However, when we decided to pay by cash, we had an embarrassing experience. The owner who was extremely rude, followed us to our vehicle, and flashed our $100 bill at us accusing us of paying with counterfeit money. She held the older bill up to the light and said it wasn’t real. She actually admitted that she didn’t even check our money in the counterfeit bill machine. We then payed her with some other money we had. We were not happy about her treatment toward us and decided to drive to Bank of America to make sure our money was real. The teller assured us that it indeed was. We went back to the restaurant to speak to the owner but she conveniently had stepped away. Perhaps in the future she needs to familiarize herself with older money and treat paying customers with respect. We were given a business card by our server with contact information for the owner and a coupon for a free biscuit…..we’ll pass.

Found this place by mistake - and good thing we did! The man at the register was super friendly, offered us the pastries that they had left as they were close to closing. He had already started to clean the tables and chairs, but offered us a seat anyway and gave us waters as well. Really friendly vibe as well as absolutely delicious scones!
