About Maguro Sushi & Steak House

Maguro Sushi & Steak House is located at 895 Wiggins Pass Rd, Naples, FL 34110, USA. While the platform category is Chinese Restaurant, customer reviews indicate that Maguro Sushi & Steak House offers a broader Asian dining experience, specializing in sushi and steak with a hibachi grill. You can contact them at (239) 591-0003 or their mobile number +1 239-591-0003.

According to customer reviews, Maguro Sushi & Steak House is a consistently good choice, with one family making it an annual tradition for birthdays. The food is generally well-received, with specific mentions of scallops, filet mignon, and fried rice being great. The service is also noted as prompt.

A key feature of Maguro Sushi & Steak House is the hibachi grill experience, where food is prepared right in front of the customers. One reviewer particularly enjoyed sitting next to the hibachi grill, highlighting the friendly and chatty nature of the chef who cooked for them and the tastiness of the food prepared this way.

However, some changes in the hibachi experience have been observed over the years, with one long-time customer noting that the chefs have become less interactive, citing the absence of traditional elements like throwing broccoli for customers to catch. Additionally, there is a recommendation to avoid paying extra for noodles, as they have been found to be too salty.

While the overall experience is positive, with good food and service, one reviewer suggested that the fried ice cream could use some improvement.

For local users in Naples looking for a dining experience that combines sushi and steak with the entertainment of a hibachi grill, Maguro Sushi & Steak House appears to be a solid option. It is known for its good food, prompt service, and engaging live cooking at the hibachi tables. However, those seeking a highly interactive hibachi show with all the traditional elements might find it somewhat subdued compared to past experiences, and the noodles are not recommended. Sushi options are also available, though less detailed in the provided reviews.

We go every year for my son's birthday and it's always good. Over the past several years, the hibachi chefs have been less interactive. For example, this time, they did not throw pieces of broccoli into the air for the customers to catch. The food is good and the service prompt. Scallops, filet mignon and fried rice are great. Do not pay the extra charge for noodles, they are too salty.

Great experience and good food, especially when you are sitting next to habachi grill, where they prep your food straight away infronf of you. The chef who was cooking for me was very friendly and chatty. Food was tasty. However, the fried ice cream needed some improvement.

Hostess was rude. There’s zero order. Took about 10 min for us to be greeted. Don’t appreciate that after being seated 20 minutes past our reserved time. Chef was awesome and funny. Did the celebratory bday dragon ice cream song (just go if you’re curious). Food was same as you’d get around in any Japanese steakhouse. I’d say mediocre at best overall. Mainly get someone who knows how to deal with people at the front end. Whoever is the older female who’s hosting, is not doing her job well at all. Replace her. Way too expensive to be treated so rudely.

Gio was an excellent server, and the Kani salad (one of very few that call it property) was excellent. Followed up with an amazing tiger roll. I'm looking forward to trying out the hibachi.

We were there for the tail end of happy hour, so we ordered a couple appetizers and each a dinner. We had tempura vegetables that were ok. I ordered the early bird strip steak special. I ordered medium rare and it was medium well, but the bigger issue was the dryness and chewiness of the steak. Not a good cut of beef, for sure. There are no issues with the high quantity of food for the price and high service levels, but the food was definitely lacking.
