About Magnolia Wok

Magnolia Wok is a Chinese restaurant conveniently located within the food court of the mall at 2701 David H McLeod Blvd, Florence, SC 29501, USA. As a Chinese restaurant, Magnolia Wok offers a variety of Chinese-inspired dishes to shoppers and local residents in Florence. You can reach them at (843) 669-0725 or via their mobile number +1 843-669-0725 for inquiries or to place an order for dine-in within the food court or potentially for takeout.

Based on recent customer reviews, Magnolia Wok appears to be known for its generous portion sizes, offering a substantial amount of food with each order. One customer who had visited multiple times mentioned that they often find it sufficient to split a single plate between two people. This suggests that value for money in terms of quantity might be a notable aspect of Magnolia Wok.

The service at Magnolia Wok has been positively highlighted by at least one reviewer. They described the person taking their order as nice and appreciated the confirmation of their order before payment. Furthermore, they recounted an instance where the food preparer offered a slight wait to ensure fresh chicken was provided, rather than serving chicken that had been sitting. This proactive approach to quality was seen as thoughtful and contributed to a positive experience. The reviewer also noted that despite a crowded food court area, the service at Magnolia Wok itself was efficient, with the line moving along at a good pace.

Regarding the food itself, one customer specifically praised the freshness and taste of the orange chicken and lo mein they ordered. They also reiterated the generous portion size, mentioning that even after splitting a plate, they could have had seconds if desired. This positive feedback suggests that some of Magnolia Wok's popular dishes are well-received in terms of flavor and quality when served fresh.

Another customer provided a more mixed review, indicating that while the sesame chicken and teriyaki chicken were good, the bourbon chicken was dry. This suggests that the quality and preparation might vary across different menu items. This reviewer also mentioned that the wings and egg rolls appeared to have been refried. Despite these inconsistencies, they expressed an intention to visit again, suggesting that their overall experience was not entirely negative, and they might have recommendations for ordering at specific times, such as earlier in the day when the food might be fresher.

As Magnolia Wok is located within a mall food court, the environment is likely characterized by the typical bustling atmosphere of such a setting. Customers can expect a casual dining experience with shared seating areas common to food courts. While the specific ambiance of Magnolia Wok's serving area isn't detailed, the positive review mentioned that the "place itself wasn’t bad," suggesting that their immediate service area is adequately maintained and functional despite the general food court environment.

The primary service offered by Magnolia Wok appears to be the preparation and serving of Chinese cuisine for immediate consumption within the food court or for takeout. The positive mention of order confirmation and the willingness to prepare fresh food indicate a focus on customer service during the ordering and preparation process. It is not explicitly stated whether Magnolia Wok offers delivery services, so those interested in this option would need to inquire directly.

Features of Magnolia Wok that can be inferred from the reviews include generous portion sizes, potentially fresh ingredients (as highlighted by the offer of freshly cooked chicken), and efficient service even during busy periods. The variety of dishes mentioned, such as orange chicken, lo mein, sesame chicken, teriyaki chicken, bourbon chicken, wings, and egg rolls, suggests a fairly standard menu of popular Chinese-American fare.

Promotional information for Magnolia Wok is not available in the provided text. Food court vendors often have daily specials or combination deals, but these are not mentioned in the reviews. To learn about any current promotions or special offers, it would be best to contact Magnolia Wok directly at the provided phone number or visit their location in the food court.

In conclusion, Magnolia Wok is a Chinese restaurant located in the food court of a mall in Florence, SC. Customer reviews suggest that they are known for their generous portions and can offer fresh and tasty versions of some popular dishes, such as orange chicken and lo mein. The service has been described as friendly and efficient. However, there may be some variability in the quality of other dishes, such as bourbon chicken, and some items like wings and egg rolls may sometimes be refried. The environment is that of a typical food court, which can be crowded. For those seeking a substantial amount of Chinese food while shopping or in the Florence area, Magnolia Wok is an option to consider, keeping in mind the mixed feedback on certain menu items and the food court setting. For specific details on their menu, services (like takeout or potential delivery), and any promotions, direct contact with the restaurant is recommended.

We decided to go to Magnolia Wok during this visit for Chinese food. We’ve been here a few times before and we love how much food we get with your order. Since we knew what to expect we decided to get one plate and split it. The person taking the order was nice and even confirmed our order with us prior to us paying. The person making the plates told us it would be a small wait because they wanted to give us fresh chicken instead of the little bit of chicken that had been sitting, which we thought was so thoughtful! The wait wasn’t long and we ordered the orange chicken with lo mein, everything was fresh and really good. Even after splitting the plate between the two of us we were still able to get seconds should we want it. The area was little crowded as the location is in the food court of the mall but the place itself wasn’t bad and they were moving their line right along. 10/10

The sesame chicken was good, the teriyaki chicken was good, but the bourbon chicken was dry. The wings had been refried and so was th egg rolls. Will go again but earlier in the day like when they first open

Came to the Magnolia mall's food court and some good chinese food. The internet made me do it LO.L. Food was good and very reasonably priced. You could feed two adults with the amount of food they put in there to go containers. It was like probably 5 plus pounds in there.

It looked delicious, but they only take cash, so it didn’t work out. They would probably do more business in 2025 if they accepted other forms of payment 🙂

In the Florence Mall Food court. It was a line as soon as I got there. I saw this place on the internet with the big portions they give customers and wanted to see if it was real or not. There were no lies told. I ordered the 2 meats and fried rice combination and watched him go to work. You get a massive serving of fried rice at the bottom to start. I got the Black Pepper Chicken and Seasame Chicken and they are not stingy with the servings at all. I saw him put 3 scoops of each meat into the container and it's so full that he has to close it with the to go bag. All that for $13.75 is definitely a win. I would suggest this place to anybody in Florence, SC. Took me 3 days to finish it in total.
