Took my family here the first time. Trying the dim sum. This place is known for their BBQ. We ordered, spare rib, congee, rice noodle, squid, custard bun, sticky rice, bean curd wrap, chicken wings. Food was below average. Service is terrible. They don’t want to talk to you.

I think this is one of the best DIM-SUM restaurant in Toronto. I just went to Las Vegas for Dim-sum and come back from Hong Kong. This dim-sum restaurant is amazing! it’s even better than Hong Kong today . SHUMAI is jumbo size and make with real fresh shrimp.Malaysian sponge cake is outstanding👍(make with brown sugar), steamed fish meatball is handmade fresh when you order. I hope people know about DIM-SUM Meaning breakfast for Chinese,so Please don’t expect service like a fine dining restaurant(most people complaint about it). So,please give a Mercy for the server. They are not racist, just they’re TOO busy with short-handed !This is super authentic Chinese restaurant. I’ll give them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ Check my review .I travel around the world for food.🍱

We had the dim sum here. A few things to note, as of this post, the Happy Hour is 9am - 11am at $5.58 a dish on weekdays excluding holidays The above price is somewhat average as there are dim sum places with a cheaper price. Some good dishes to get that were amazing for this restaurant: - Shrimp Dumpling - Their shrimp amount is alot and the wrap is able to hold itself - Squid tentacles - very crispy at the tail end - Sticky gluttonous rice wrapped in lotus leaf - Super flavorful - Their special siracha hot sauce. Please ask for this and put it on your food Some bad notes: - They ran out of the most essential dish. (Pork and shrimp siu mai). You can not run out of the essentials so this is super bad supply chain management. They also ran out of the Taro minced pork dish - Don't get the soup dumpling. No hot soup at all - Don't get the Shrimp corn filled ball. Innovative but not good Overall, this is 3 stars because the previous ownership ( Sam Woo BBQ ) did a much better job in giving us the best dim sum value and had happy hour in the afternoon. 9 dishes for ~$80 is not a good deal

COCKROACH!! for breakfast? Although the food was decent, we took the left overs home and I warmed up the bun today to find a steamed cockroach attached when I peeled away the paper. Disgusting 🫣

First time coming here since they apparently changed ownership and name. Used to come here all the time when it was “Sam Woo”. I have to say they did a good job keeping everything the same, the place is just as I remembered from several years ago. When we first got in, we got some tea and ordered the combo with a few add on dishes. All the seafood tasted really good from the lobster to the fish to the fried seafood medley(shrimp and squid). Tasted very fresh and delicious. The sweet and sour pork was extremely tasty too, tender and had a nice mesh of sweetness paired with a shuttle and not too strong sour taste. What was surprising was the Bok Choy and mushroom medley. Every bite was tasty and savoury. Food came fast and place was just as I remembered. Only con is that it’s much more expensive than other Chinese restaurants. Just 5 dishes with soup and dessert will set you back $200-300. If you don’t mind spending the extra buck for tasty Chinese food. Then this may be the place for you IMO.
