About M’S Kitchen
Welcome to M’S Kitchen, a local Chinese restaurant situated at 18323 Pioneer Blvd #5532 in Artesia, California. Operating within the Chinese Restaurant category, M’S Kitchen specializes in providing authentic USese cuisine to the local community. Based on customer feedback, M’S Kitchen offers a diverse menu and a welcoming atmosphere.
According to a recent review, M’S Kitchen is described as a "small local business offering USese food." While the interior of the restaurant is noted as being "older and aged," the establishment retains a loyal customer base, with one reviewer mentioning they have been visiting for years. This suggests that despite the dated decor, the food and service have historically been appreciated by the local community.
One of the notable aspects of M’S Kitchen, as highlighted by a customer, is the friendliness and niceness of the staff. This positive feedback regarding the service contributes to the overall dining experience. The reviewer's long-term patronage indicates a level of satisfaction with the hospitality provided at M’S Kitchen.
The menu at M’S Kitchen is reported to be extensive, offering "a lot to offer so you are sure to find something you like." This wide variety suggests that the restaurant caters to diverse tastes and preferences within USese cuisine, making it a place where both regular patrons and new visitors can discover dishes that appeal to them. However, a recent observation from a returning customer mentioned a potential change in the kitchen, stating, "I feel like perhaps they have a new chef because all the flavors seemed off in some way." This suggests a possible shift in the culinary style or execution that some long-time customers might perceive.
A specific offering mentioned in the review is the "Economic meal." This meal deal allows customers to choose three dishes for a price in the "30 something" range. The reviewer specified three of the dishes included in this offering: Chicken with sesame oil and bean sauce, Beef with Chinese Broccoli, and Bean curd with pork. This Economic Meal appears to be a value-oriented option that allows diners to sample a variety of USese flavors at a set price.
Regarding parking, a customer noted that "the parking directly in front can be a problem," indicating potential congestion or limited spaces immediately adjacent to the restaurant. However, they also pointed out that "there is more parking offered further down into the shopping center," suggesting that while immediate parking might be challenging, alternative parking options are available within the vicinity.

A small local business offering Taiwanese food. The interior is older and aged. The parking directly in front can be a problem but there is more parking offered further down into the shopping center. The staff is nice and friendly. We’ve been going here for years and I feel like perhaps they have a new chef because all the flavors seemed off in some way. The menu has a lot to offer so you are sure to find something you like.
They have the Economic meal. You can choose 3 dishes for around 30 something. Chicken with sesame oil and bean sauce. Beef with Chinese Broccoli. Bean curd with pork.
Oh May, my love souffle. Or, I should say, my love chao siu bao. Yet another great lunch spot in the 562, May's Kitchen offers delicious Chinese food (my fav) at affordable prices. Closing for lunch at 2:30pm, then reopening for dinner at 4pm, I managed to be the sole lunch diner before the midday break. Perusing the lunch specials, which include soup, rice and hot tea, I requested the pork with bittermelon. "We don't have." Shucks! Okay, Plan B (No, not the morning after pill ;p ). Bamboo shoots with shredded pork sounds good. I'll have that. Yes, Cerritos! Crunchy bamboo shoots with tender pork. If you listen closely, you can hear an "oink" with every bite ;p I enjoyed the taste and portions of my meal. The soup was hearty and sour, which I love. Lots of white rice, of which I will use to make fried rice later. Plus, the complimentary hot tea made me a May's Kitchen convert. Tables are available for seating, accommodating around 30 people. Near the entrance to the restroom, there is a semi-private VIP table. I'm not sure if people can make reservations, but it's good to know you can have a meal with all of your mahjong buddies. Speaking of restroom, the men's restroom was clean, with no vandalism. It's nice to see, since vandalized restrooms disgust me. Destroying people's property = no bueno. Parking is plentiful in a private lot, shared with Pizza Hut, Kim Tar, Sona Chaandi and other businesses. Service was with a smile. I'm definitely coming back! The food's good, the prices are great and it's so close and convenient. I'm a fan, for sheez! Highly recommend!
M's Kitchen is located at the corner of Pioneer & 183rd st. It looks like your run-of-the-mill Chinese restaurant but this little restaurant pavks a full flavor. We've been visiting this place for more than 10 years. You can order a la cart or can order off of their lunch and dinner set menu. Our go-to dishes are Salt & Pepper Pork Chop, Salt & Pepple squid, Shredded beef with chili, Shrimp scrambled eggs, Preserved sausage with leek, String beans and other vegetable dishes. I would love to try their noodles dishes but the serving is quite big for one person. Give this place a try if you are in the mood for some authentic Chinese food.
Extensive menu, lots to choose from. Happy we tried M's Kitchen! Food is yummy. Fried pork chops, salt& pepper fish, combination fried rice and Mongolian beef. Enough food to have throughout the week. Definitely will be a return customer.
