According to initial customer feedback, the food at Lutong Bahay is considered "really good." The staff is described as nice and helpful, offering recommendations to first-time visitors. Popular dishes mentioned include the lumpia, turrón, and kare kare. A notable feature of this establishment is its dual nature as a restaurant and a mini-mart, offering customers the option to purchase additional snacks and food items.

However, another customer visiting from out of town found the service friendly and helpful but described the food quality as "ok," noting that it was appreciated to find Filipino options in the area. This reviewer dined in and also took a significant amount of food to go. They commented on the prices being "pretty much standard, just high," questioning the generally higher cost of Filipino food.

This customer also shared a response they received from the owner regarding their comments on pricing and food quality, describing the owner's reply as "not gentle and quite confrontational," which they found off-guarding. The food was really good! The staff was nice and they helped recommend some dishes since we were totally new there. My favorites were the lumpia, turrón, and kare kare. It's also like a store in there and they have some additional snacks/food you can buy.

We were visiting from out of town for a family reunion and needed to bring Filipino options. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was ok. Was just nice to know there were Filipino options in the area. We dined in and took a lot of food to go. Prices were pretty much standard, just high. Idk why Filipino food is always on the higher end?!? ***In response to the OWNER: I made a comment about the pricing. I tried to be gentle about the food quality. His response, however, was not gentle and quite confrontational. This caught me off guard. I want to be fully transparent with you and share that if the quality had been there, I would have been more than happy to pay the given prices. In the future, I would caution you against making stereotypes, lumping Filipinos together, and making assumptions after a review is posted about your restaurant.

First-time visitor. But definitely not the last time. This little restaurant and store has some of the basic fundamentals in Filipino cuisine. The staff is very friendly. Very helpful and kind. If you're from the area you already know about this place. The pork lechon is yummy. Just like eating it in the Philippines. As an American and my wife being Filipino. This reminds me of all the great food in the Philippines. You definitely want to try them out.

This by far was the cleanest Filipino restaurant that I tried. The meals were delicious (I did the to-go and brought these fantastic meals home). The employees were clear, kind & respectful. The ambiance was perfect. They didn't play loud music which made sense to quietly choose and enjoy your meals. Lastly, they have a mini sari-sari store if you want to get some of your favorite Filipino snacks back home. Highly recommended & will tell this location to my friends. Thanks!

Ordered food on a whim for work, surprise lunch for my coworkers. The food was great, and everyone loved it. Also introduced Filipino food to my coworkers who have never had it, and they are now changed in a good way. Thank you will be by again to eat more food and buy some snacks at the market.
