About Lung Wah Restaurant

Lung Wah Restaurant, located at 1105 Sunset Rd, Burlington, NJ 08016, USA (phone: (609) 387-4981 or mobile: +1 609-387-4981), is a Chinese restaurant that focuses on takeout service. Customer reviews present a somewhat divided opinion on the food quality.

One customer expressed initial concerns about a potential decline in quality but was pleased to find that Lung Wah has seemingly improved, with the food tasting fresher. This reviewer highly recommends several dishes, including the pork fried rice (calling it the best), the egg foo young, and the large egg rolls. They emphasize the deliciousness of the food overall. Additionally, this customer mentions a perk for larger orders: complimentary tea or lemonade and sweet donuts.

However, another customer reported a negative experience, finding the wonton soup to be flavorless with an oily broth. They also noted that the pan-fried dumplings lacked flavor and seasoning, and the chicken fried rice contained dark chicken meat with a significant amount of fat.

Based on these contrasting reviews, the food quality at Lung Wah Restaurant might be inconsistent or subjective. While one customer raves about specific dishes and appreciates the complimentary items, another found several dishes to be lacking in flavor and quality.

It's important to note that Lung Wah Restaurant does not offer delivery service, so customers must pick up their orders. For local users in Burlington, NJ, Lung Wah offers a takeout option for Chinese cuisine. If you decide to try it, the pork fried rice, egg foo young, and egg rolls come highly recommended by one reviewer, and you might receive complimentary items with a large order. However, be aware of the potential for inconsistencies in flavor and quality as reported by another customer.

I have to say, for a while I was concerned about my Lung Wah, I thought they were slipping but oh boy was I wrong. Not only have they come back strong for me but they're food tastes fresher. I am blown away by the taste of every dish. The best pork fried rice by far, the best egg foo young, the best and the biggest egg rolls around. The food is delicious. AND they give you complimentary tea or lemonade and sweet donuts for large orders. They don't deliver but I believe that makes the drive that much more important.

The wonton soup had no flavor and the broth tasted like oil. The pan fried dumplings had no flavor or seasoning. The chicken fried rice used dark chicken meat and there was a ton of fat!

The food at Lung Wah is over priced, over cooked, under seasoned, and extremely greasy. I placed an order for chicken, broccoli, and lo me in which came up to $35.00. I asked them not to put onions or mushrooms in my lo mein but they put it in anyway. They told me to bring the lo mein back for a refund and when I gave it back they refused to give me a refund (even though I only requested a refund for the lo mein which was $8.00). I called the police and they advised me to provide this review so others would be aware of Lung Wah’s poor service and poor quality food. For those thinking about eating from Lung Wah, I hope this information helps. They don’t deserve the 1 star I gave them but unfortunately there’s no option for 0 stars. Please beware of this restaurant.

Food is alright for the price. But they need a serious lesson on frying chicken wings!
