Based on recent customer reviews, experiences at Lucky Palace Chinese Restaurant appear to vary significantly. One customer expressed strong disappointment with their order, which included pork fried rice, Mongolian beef, and an egg roll. They described the pork fried rice as white rice with minimal amounts of diced ham, egg, and onions. The Mongolian beef was likened to a combination of pepper steak with an abundance of unusual vegetables and very little steak, not resembling traditional Mongolian beef. According to this reviewer, the egg roll was the only satisfactory item. They also mentioned that despite the restaurant looking like a real Chinese place, the food was so poor they threw it away.

In contrast, another customer had a positive experience, highlighting the kindness and attentiveness of an older lady who took their order and describing the food as "amazing."

The reviews offer conflicting perspectives on the food quality. One suggests significant dissatisfaction with key dishes, while the other praises the food. The service received positive feedback in one instance, noting the kindness and attentiveness of the staff member. The environment is briefly mentioned as looking like a real Chinese place, but no further details are provided. There is no promotional information available in these reviews. Local users in Boise should consider these contrasting experiences when deciding whether to try Lucky Palace Chinese Restaurant.

Where are all the real Chinese chefs? Today I decided I wanted to try lucky palace. I ordered pork fried rice, Mongolian beef and an egg roll I spent 29 dollars plus a ten dollar tip not well deserved. Look at the rice it’s white rice with little pieces of diced ham, egg and onions barely noticeable, I mean just put it in the blender and make a smoothie out of it!! And look at the Mongolian beef! It’s like a combination of pepper steak and god knows what else! Barely no steak tons of weird veggies-not Mongolian beef!! The egg roll was the only thing that was good. Looking at the place it looked like a real Chinese place but I guess looks are deceiving. At least they gave me lots of fortune cookies which I can fill myself up with cause that food went straight to the garbage.

We enjoyed our lunch! Service was great and the food was very tasty. My wife got the cashew chicken, and I got the general chicken. The sauce on the general chicken was a bit too salty but I still ate it all.

First time visiting. Ordered the "mandarin chicken with pork fried rice". What I received was some chicken flooded in sweet and sour sauce. If there was any mandarin flavor at all under the sauce I was not able to detect it. Way too sweet, tasted like a jelly donut, not at all like mandarin chicken. The fried rice tasted like plain white rice with some veggies added to it, like it was never fried at all. Service was fine.
