About Lucky Noodle House

Lucky Noodle House is located at 8525 Blanco Rd, San Antonio, TX 78216, USA. While categorized on some platforms as a Chinese Restaurant, Lucky Noodle House appears to specialize in a variety of noodle dishes.

According to one customer, the sweet potato noodles with lamb were a highlight, described as a big bowl served steaming hot with a very good and powerful spice level. This reviewer also enjoyed the sweet and sour cucumbers, noting a variety of flavors in the salad. The service for the tea and cucumber salad was reported to be quick, and the overall dining experience was very enjoyable, leaving the customer feeling full.

However, another customer had a different experience with the cold noodles. They received a lukewarm dish with an excessive amount of noodles. This reviewer did not find the sauce special, describing it as not tangy or savory as expected and unlike usual cold noodle sauces.

Based on these reviews, Lucky Noodle House offers a range of noodle dishes, with some being particularly praised for their flavor and spice, while others may not meet all customers' expectations. The environment and specific services beyond food preparation and serving are not detailed in these reviews.

Stopped in to try some noodles. Ordered ice tea, sweet and sour cucumbers, and sweet potatoes noodles with lamb. Tea and cucumber salad came out quick. Was amazed with the variety of flavors on the cucumber salad. Then the main dish sweet potatoes noodles with lamb was placed on my table steaming hot. As I tasted the bowl, I could tell the spice was very good and powerful just how I liked. It took me a while to finish the bowl because it was a big bowl and certainly filled me up. I can testify this was a spicy but good bowl of noodles that completely filled me up. Very much enjoyed dining here.

I was craving for some cold noodles so much but got lukewarm noodle instead. Too much noodle and I did not understand what was so special about the sauce. I expected some tangy and savory sauce but this one was not it. Hard to describe it but definitely not usual cold noodle sauce.

Great, traditional Chinese food & service. Homemade noodles were flavourful, dumplings were delicious! Portions are big enough for two people to share one dish!

UPDATE. Still great fresh food with great taste. Service is generally good. The pork and chive dumplings are still my most favorite. We've been here many times over the last few years and have seen their business grow. Fresh, shop made noodles in thin or flat are amazing, tender and flavorful. We start with their pork and chives dumplings that are tasty and hot. I keep thinking we will try some of the other choices but these are so good we've eaten them every time we are here. Choose your noodle and then a protein, beef, lamb, chicken, pork or shrimp and decide if you want them stir fried or with soup. This is a smallish shop but they have excellent service and very tasty food. Take out is available as well.

Came upon this little spot looking for some pho t9 be honest. Saw soup on the menu with homemade noodles. Sure why not. Great decision. I ordered their beef brisket eith wide homemade noodles (spice on the side, yes im a bad mesican) and their garlic ccumbers. Sooo much food portion. The broth was very flavorful and sun hot i had to ice it down to eat. 🤣. Noodles were just perfectly cooked with a bit of a bite to them. Definitely will be back to try other things. It was a lot so took some home.
