Based on the available online reviews, customer experiences at Lucky Garden Restaurant present a mixed picture, with some patrons expressing high satisfaction while others have reported significant disappointment. It is important for potential local users to consider both positive and negative feedback to form a balanced perspective on what this establishment has to offer.
One reviewer had a very positive experience, highlighting several key aspects. They noted that Lucky Garden was "the cleanest Asian restaurant we’ve been in," which suggests a strong emphasis on hygiene and a pleasant dining environment. Furthermore, this reviewer found the food to be "very delicious" and appreciated that it was "not lots of sauce," indicating a preference for dishes where the natural flavors of the ingredients are more prominent. They also commended the servers for being "very nice and ready to prepare the food you like," suggesting attentive and accommodating service. Based on these positive points, this reviewer offered a strong recommendation for Lucky Garden Restaurant.
In stark contrast, another customer had a profoundly negative experience. They began by stating that despite the food looking delicious, it was "blahhhhh no taste at all." This indicates a significant issue with the flavor profile of the dishes, which is a primary concern for any dining experience. This reviewer did mention a few exceptions, noting that the cabbage, teriyaki chicken, and cheese wontons were good. However, the overall impression was highly unfavorable. They recounted that despite arriving at the restaurant feeling very hungry, a few bites of the food were enough to quell their appetite in an unpleasant way. The food reportedly left a "nasty taste" in their mouths and even induced a feeling of nausea. The egg rolls were described as "over cooked and tasted bland," further contributing to the negative perception. This reviewer went so far as to suggest that they would have had a better experience getting a "Pup cup" from Starbucks, underscoring their extreme dissatisfaction. They also mentioned that the unpleasant aftertaste lingered for a significant amount of time, and both they and their father felt the food sat heavily in their stomachs. In conclusion, this reviewer expressed regret for not choosing another local Chinese restaurant, "Chinese Kitchen," which they consider the best in Statesboro.
Considering these two very different reviews, it is challenging to form a definitive overall impression of Lucky Garden Restaurant. The positive review emphasizes cleanliness, delicious food with a balanced amount of sauce, and good service. On the other hand, the negative review strongly criticizes the lack of taste in most dishes, the poor quality of the egg rolls, and an unpleasant physical reaction to the food. The mention of a few specific items (cabbage, teriyaki chicken, cheese wontons) being palatable in the negative review suggests some inconsistency in the quality or preparation of different dishes.
The environment of Lucky Garden Restaurant is positively highlighted by one reviewer who found it to be the "cleanest Asian restaurant" they had visited. This suggests that maintaining a clean and hygienic dining space is a priority for the establishment. Beyond this, the provided information does not offer further details about the decor, ambiance, or overall atmosphere of the restaurant. However, being located in a strip mall at "581 Northside Dr E #111," it is likely to have a standard, functional layout typical of such establishments, aimed at providing a comfortable setting for diners.
In terms of services, Lucky Garden Restaurant offers dine-in options, as suggested by the reviewer who commented on the cleanliness of the interior. The positive review also praised the servers for being "very nice and ready to prepare the food you like," indicating a willingness to accommodate customer preferences and provide friendly service. While not explicitly mentioned, it is common for Chinese restaurants to also offer takeout services, and possibly delivery through third-party platforms. To confirm the availability of takeout or delivery, it would be best to contact the restaurant directly.
Features of Lucky Garden Restaurant that can be gleaned from the reviews include its commitment to cleanliness, which is a significant positive aspect. The potential for delicious food, as mentioned by one reviewer who appreciated the balanced use of sauce, could also be a feature for some customers. The friendly and accommodating service reported by one patron is another potential draw. However, the inconsistent food quality, with some dishes lacking flavor and others being overcooked, as highlighted in the negative review, is a significant concern. The few dishes (cabbage, teriyaki chicken, cheese wontons) that were deemed good by the critical reviewer might be considered features for those with specific preferences.
Promotional information is not provided in the given reviews. There are no mentions of special offers, discounts, or loyalty programs. To learn about any current promotions or deals that Lucky Garden Restaurant might be offering, it is recommended to contact them directly via phone or inquire during a visit.
In conclusion, Lucky Garden Restaurant in Statesboro, GA, presents a somewhat contradictory picture based on the available reviews. While one customer praised its cleanliness, delicious food with a balanced approach to sauces, and friendly service, another reported a very negative experience with tasteless and poorly prepared food that even induced nausea. Potential local users should consider these contrasting viewpoints. The restaurant's emphasis on cleanliness and the reported friendly service are positive aspects, but the significant concerns raised about food quality cannot be ignored. For the most accurate and up-to-date information on their menu, services (including takeout and delivery), hours, and any ongoing promotions, it is advisable to contact Lucky Garden Restaurant directly.

Customer Reviews
The cleanest asian restaurant we’ve been in. The food is very delicious, not lots of sauce; The servers are very nice and ready to prepare the food you like. I definitely recommend it!
Where do I start! First of all even though the food looks delicious, it was blahhhhh no taste at all. The only thing that was good was the cabbage, teriyaki chicken, and cheese wontons. Me and my dad was starving when we arrived and after having a few bites of the food we weren't. The food left a nasty taste in our mouths along with me feeling like I just wanted to throw up everything I had just digested. The egg rolls were over cooked and tasted bland. I probably would've had better chances going to Starbucks and eating a Pup cup, which probably would've been better than the food we only took a few bites of before leaving and having to guzzle down a few mints to get the bland taste out our mouths. It took about 2 hours for me stop feeling like I wanted to throw the food up, which me and my dad both agreed felt like it settled right at the top of our stomachs. This is what we get for not going to Chinese Kitchen (the best Chinese in Statesboro).
I felt "lucky", so I tried the Lucky Garden. I was not disappointed. I tried several selections and skipped the sauces and the food was very good without adding anything. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the staff were all friendly. And the price was just as friendly! I have ordered the small plate (3 items) and have had plenty. I had family visiting, and they were just as pleased. I plan to return again and again!
I love coming to this little cute place.Food is great. This is our grandma and granddaughter spot to just catch up the food and service is all great. The atmosphere is just as good as everything else. The waiters are so kind love it here 5 stars 100%.
This food was either REALLY good or I was just hungry. I usually take a picture of my food and upload it with my review but the foods almost gone now. Haha. I got a togo buffet (which they plate up for you), and the price for the amount of food you get is such a steal. The staff was also very nice. 10/10 would recommend this place.
