Customer reviews present mixed opinions about Lucky Fortune. One customer who ordered the Mongolian Beef and Chef Special Lo Mein found the Lo Mein to be flavorless, requiring a large amount of soy sauce. While the Mongolian Beef was described as flavorful, the reviewer noted a lack of beef relative to the amount of onions and scallions, expressing disappointment with the portion for the price.

Another reviewer had a significantly negative experience, stating they would give the restaurant a zero-star rating if possible. They reported inconsistent pricing for the same order placed by a coworker on the same day and mentioned a $15 minimum for card payments. This reviewer also described the woman running the restaurant as "extremely rude, disrespectful, and racist," specifically mentioning rude behavior towards Black customers. An incident involving the owner allegedly slamming her fist on the counter after a misunderstanding during an order was detailed, leading the customer to cancel their order and vow never to return. This reviewer also stated that, based on past experience, the food quality was poor. They suggested the restaurant faces strong competition and needs to improve its food and customer service.

Based on these reviews, potential customers should be aware of reports regarding inconsistent food quality, pricing issues, a card payment minimum, and concerns about the rudeness and disrespect of the owner, including alleged racist behavior towards Black customers.

I ordered the Mongolian Beef and a the Chef Special Lo mein. The Lo mein was an add on only because my friend raved about how good it is… I was Disappointed to say the least. It had no flavor and I had to drown it in soy sauce. The Mongolian Beef was flavorful however, there was barely any beef. It was all onions and scallions. The picture I posted was AFTER I had picked out most of the scallions (approx 1/2 cup) and I was still left with a container full of onions. Call me crazy, but for $13 I expect more beef and less onions.

Where do I begin? If I could rate this place a zero, I would. The prices are inconsistent. My coworker ordered the same thing on the same day and he was charged more money one time. They have $15 minimum in order to use a card payment. The women running the restaurant is extremely rude, disrespectful, and racist. She’s rude to black customers.Today I went there to order and I was dreading it because it’s always an unpleasant experience. I should’ve known better, the only reason I went is because The New Great Wall is closed on Mondays. Which is another Chinese take out which is walking distance from them. They provide better customer service and the food is better. I was ordering some food and I didn’t understand the question the owner asked me and I had her repeat herself. She got so frustrated, she slammed her fist on the makeshift counter they made due to Covid. I was shocked at how comfortable she was displaying her anger towards me. I cancelled my order and I knew I would never return, it was the last straw. On top of everything the food is trash from past experience. They don’t deserve to be in business with the quality of customer service and food they provide. They definitely lost me as customer. They need to understand there’s too much competition for them with their lack luster food and disrespectful personnel, good luck and good riddance.

• $15 credit card minimum is ridiculous, and yes, I'd rather you charge me a credit card fee. • The food is merely edible and has yet to make me sick. That's all I can say about it.

Food is absolutely amazing, however one of the employees attending to the front has abysmal customer service. There is a young man who’s customer service is on point. The other employee is an older woman who tends to be rather rude most of the time. She has yelled many times while I’ve picked up my order, once over hesitation in choosing sauces despite the fact that she will give you the wrong sauces 90% of the time no matter how clearly you denote what you would like. Food makes it worth coming, you just have to deal with the lady in the front always yelling, being impatient, and not giving you the sauces you asked for every time.

My boyfriend and I definitely had a "lucky fortune" tonight walking into this establishment for take-out. The family was extremely friendly, fast, food tasted fresher than any other Chinese take-out we've had around these parts, and everything was cooked perfectly, including the vegetable. The honey BBQ wings were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Aside from that, we ordered mixed veggies with tofu, general Tso's, and the best Hot & Sour Soup I've ever had which also had some surprises of veggies that you don't normally get....not gelatinous like so many I've had. Had I said enough??? :) We're happy customers and we'll certainly be coming back!!
