About Lucky Express

Welcome to Lucky Express, a Chinese restaurant located at 1906 Clint Moore Rd in Boca Raton, Florida. As a part of the Chinese Restaurant category, Lucky Express aims to provide local users with a variety of Chinese culinary offerings. This establishment can be reached at (561) 998-9366 or +1 561-998-9366. While comprehensive details about the restaurant's environment and services are not extensively available online, we can infer some aspects based on the limited information provided and customer reviews.

Environment: One customer review describes the restaurant and lobby as "old, junky and unappetizing." This suggests that the physical environment of Lucky Express may not be its strongest point. Potential diners should be aware of this feedback, which indicates a possibly dated or cluttered ambiance. Without further information, it is difficult to provide a more detailed description of the restaurant's atmosphere or decor. It is recommended that individuals who prioritize a modern or well-maintained dining environment may want to consider this feedback before visiting.

Services: The available information does not explicitly detail the services offered by Lucky Express, such as dine-in, takeout, or delivery. However, as a standard Chinese restaurant, it is reasonable to assume that they offer takeout services, given the provision of phone numbers for contact. Dine-in service is also a likely option, although the negative review regarding the lobby's appearance might influence some customers' decision to eat on-site. The availability of delivery services is not mentioned, so it would be best to contact the restaurant directly to inquire about this option or if they partner with any third-party delivery platforms.

Features: According to one positive customer review, Lucky Express prides itself on serving fresh, made-to-order food that tastes great. This suggests a focus on preparing dishes from scratch using fresh ingredients, which can be a significant advantage for quality and flavor. The reviewer was particularly impressed by the dim sum, noting the inclusion of little chestnut pieces that enhanced the texture, implying a level of detail and care in their preparation. This positive feedback suggests that Lucky Express may specialize in or have particularly noteworthy dim sum offerings. The reviewer further commented that "pretty much all their food tastes like they did ," positioning Lucky Express as a step above other establishments that might rely on frozen food. This emphasis on freshly prepared meals could be a key feature attracting customers seeking authentic and high-quality Chinese cuisine.

However, another customer had a starkly contrasting experience. This review described the food as "disgusting," with specific complaints about cold and chewy ribs that tasted "old," and fried rice that was bland and yellow, unlike typical Chinese fried rice. The reviewer also had a negative experience with the egg rolls, biting into something tough and chewy that was inedible. This significantly negative feedback raises concerns about the consistency and quality of the food at Lucky Express. The discrepancy between the two reviews highlights a potential variability in food quality or preparation, which prospective customers should be aware of.

Promotional Information: The provided information does not contain any specific promotional details for Lucky Express in Boca Raton. Chinese restaurants often offer lunch specials, combination platters, family meal deals, or discounts for certain order amounts. To find out about any current promotions or special offers at Lucky Express, it is recommended to contact them directly via phone at (561) 998-9366 or +1 561-998-9366. You may also inquire about any loyalty programs or discounts for repeat customers. Checking local online directories or social media platforms (if they have a presence) might also provide insights into any ongoing promotions.

In conclusion, Lucky Express in Boca Raton presents a mixed picture based on the limited customer feedback available. One reviewer praises the fresh, made-to-order food, particularly the dim sum, suggesting a commitment to quality ingredients and preparation. However, another review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the food, citing issues with freshness, taste, and texture, as well as an unappealing environment. Potential customers should weigh these contrasting experiences when considering Lucky Express. If freshly prepared, authentic-tasting Chinese cuisine, especially dim sum, is a priority, it might be worth trying based on the positive review. However, the negative feedback regarding food quality and the restaurant's ambiance should also be taken into account. It may be prudent to inquire further about their current food quality and service standards before placing an order or visiting the establishment.

This place is great. Fresh, made to order, and tastes great!! I'm impressed especially by the dim sum. It's got little chestnut pieces to enhance the texture. Did they make this themselves from scratch?? Pretty much all their food tastes like they did. Step above all the other places that just uses frozen food.

The food was disgusting. The ribs were cold and chewy. They tasted ‘old’. The rice was unlike any Chinese fried rice I had ever had- bland and yellow. I ordered two egg rolls. I took one bite and bit into something tough & chewy and it wouldn’t break down. I spit it out and just threw my food away. I literally ate 5 bites of all the food and just tossed it. The person was nice but the restaurant and lobby was just old, junky and unappetizing. I wouldn’t recommend it - at all.

Great Chinese food restaurant run by a hard working family! I think the complaints are just from old racist people. Best food you've ever eaten? No. Very very good Chinese food? Absolutely! Takeout only.

We haven't been here in years since it is in our old neighborhood, strictly takeout and delivery. My wife ordered the Vegetable Egg Foo Young, served with white rice and gravy. Also available with pork, chicken, shrimp, or a special Egg Foo Young including pork, chicken and shrimp. I tried the Shrimp with Garlic Sauce combination dinner with green pepper, celery, carrots, mushrooms, and snow peas. Comes with egg roll, fried rice and choice of wonton, egg drop, mixed or hot & sour soup. Very good and spicy.

When a 10 year old and a 7 year old are working while the parents are in the back, you know its gonna be good. This is just normal in China. Its teaching them a lot and its a huge reason why Chinese people are smarter and harder working than us Americans. The food is good too. White meat chicken. Not that dark meat hard to chew and have to pull on chicken. rice is good too.
