About Lucky China

Lucky China is a Chinese restaurant situated at 7114 Mexico Rd in St. Peters, Missouri, 63376. As part of the Chinese Restaurant category, it aims to provide a range of Chinese cuisine options for the local community. They can be contacted at (636) 397-3888 or their mobile number +1 636-397-3888 for orders and inquiries. However, the limited customer feedback available online paints a concerning picture regarding food quality and customer service at this establishment.

One particularly critical review highlights a significant issue with food preparation. The customer expressed strong dissatisfaction upon discovering that the shrimp in their Shrimp Egg Fu Young was not deveined. They used strong language to convey their disgust, stating they wanted "shrimp egg fu young NOT shrimp poop egg fu young" and subsequently added Lucky China to their personal "DO NOT EAT" list. This review raises serious concerns about the restaurant's attention to detail in food preparation and hygiene standards, as the proper deveining of shrimp is a basic culinary practice.

Another customer shared a deeply negative experience related to communication and customer service. This first-time customer reported that their order was incorrect, allegedly due to a staff member not understanding English very well. Upon returning to the restaurant to rectify the situation, they were met with "attitude." Despite being a new customer seeking a resolution, the staff reportedly refused to correct the order and denied a refund. The customer stated that the staff member claimed they couldn't find the transaction, even after the customer provided bank statement proof. This back-and-forth reportedly lasted for almost an hour during the customer's lunch break, ultimately forcing them to leave without a resolution or their money back as they needed to get food elsewhere. The review concludes with a strong warning to potential customers, suggesting that Lucky China might "sneak pork in your meal and other meats smh," implying potential issues with order accuracy and transparency regarding ingredients, especially for those with dietary restrictions or preferences.

The limited information available makes it difficult to ascertain details about the restaurant's environment or the range of services they offer, such as dine-in, takeout, or delivery. There is no mention of the ambiance or cleanliness of the establishment, nor any information regarding special features or promotional offers. The focus of the existing feedback is solely on negative aspects of food quality and customer service.

Given the severity of the issues raised in these two reviews, local users in St. Peters considering Lucky China should proceed with extreme caution. The first review points to a potentially significant lack of attention to basic food preparation, which could be a major health and safety concern for consumers. The second review details a highly unsatisfactory customer service experience involving an incorrect order, difficulty in communication, refusal to rectify the mistake, and denial of a refund, coupled with an alarming accusation about the potential misrepresentation of ingredients.

These experiences, while limited in number based on the provided information, are significant enough to warrant serious consideration. Potential customers should be aware of the reported issues with food quality and customer service before deciding to patronize Lucky China. The lack of positive feedback or information about the restaurant's strengths further underscores the need for caution.

In conclusion, the current online feedback for Lucky China at 7114 Mexico Rd in St. Peters, MO, is overwhelmingly negative. Concerns have been raised regarding the improper preparation of food, specifically the presence of undeveined shrimp, and severely lacking customer service, including issues with order accuracy, communication barriers, and refusal to provide resolutions or refunds. Additionally, there is a serious accusation regarding the potential mislabeling or undisclosed inclusion of meat ingredients. Without any positive reviews or additional information to provide a balanced perspective, it is challenging to recommend Lucky China to local users at this time. Potential customers are strongly advised to consider these reported negative experiences before making a decision.

I had never eaten at this restaurant before, but I'm glad I did. I ordered food on their website which isn't the most user friendly, but my goodness, they cooked and delivered $30 worth of elegant dishes in less than 15 minutes! I was in disbelief when the driver knocked on my door merely minutes after placing my order. Now granted I live close to them, but holy smokes! Everything was cooked very well, hot and fresh, and ready to be enjoyed as soon as it passed from the driver's hands to mine. I will definitely be going back to them. The food was all very good and prepared and displayed well even in their containers. What a wonderful place, definitely recommend.

Their vegetable chow mein is probably one of the best in the area and Even better than Panda Express. If you want a good dinner come here.

Sweet N Sour Chicken was extremely over cooked. All pieces either had only chicken or only breading. No pieces had both breading & chicken. Couldn’t eat half of my meal. I ordered Spring Rolls and was given Shrimp Egg Rolls. I am allergic to seafood so I was unable to eat the egg rolls.
