Lucky China 8 Chinese Restaurant

I didn’t get anything to crazy. Just some egg rolls, fried dumplings, and crab Rangoon’s. The Egg-rolls and Dumplings were mid. The Rangoon’s on the other hand absolutely not! Chewy and the sauce was like a red sauce with jello consistency. The restaurant is also not very clean.Wanted to give it a try but not sure if I’ll return unless desperate.

The pamphlet for the restaurant was place in my apartment building doors so I thought I’d give it a shot. The biggest problem I had was the hostess who answered the phone she was very rude. I called to ask when my order was going to arrive as the app option I used from them hadn’t been updated she immediately had attitude and told me my driver left a little while ago and would call me. As far as food goes my crab rangoons, sesame chicken and egg roll were good. The egg roll could have been pulled out the oil a little bit earlier. My egg drop soup unfortunately was not very good it tasted like soap and the consistency was still like fresh out of the egg yolk. The driver was the nicest person ever.

I do deliveries for UberEats and DoorDash so I have never actually eaten at this place, therefore, I can not rate the food. However, ALL I’m going to say is this…if you ever pull up to this place to get food, you would immediately turn around. The outside of the establishment is just as bad if not worse than the inside. I was actually a little nervous to get out of my car (especially when it’s dark) There is NOTHING about this place that says, “eat here”. Just always be aware and look places up when ordering delivery. Hope this helps anyone looking to order from here

This was by far the most insulting plate of Chinese food I have ever seen in my life. The fried rice was not fried at all. In fact, it looked like dirty rice almost. The chicken and broccoli were just that: Slices of chicken, slices of broccoli and nothing else. 0/10 would not recommend

PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY! This place needs to be investigated by the health department & better business bureau. And I mean that with every fiber in my body. We were so excited to finally have a Chinese restaurant that delivers to our neighborhood. I should’ve know that the flyer in the door meant they had bad business. Kicking myself for not reading the reviews. The crab ragoons STALE & tasted like burnt old grease — INEDIBLE! The spring rolls were completely BURNT & inedible. The chicken didn’t taste like chicken. One bite and I spit it out! I never wanted to believe the stories about Chinese restaurants cooking rats and pretending it was chicken, but honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if this place did. Absolutely DISGUSTING food taste & quality. My daughters are NOT picky eaters & they wouldn’t take more than one bite. They REFUSED to eat their food besides the broccoli. I was treated like I was lying when I called and told them how burnt everything was. So I immediately sent pictures and videos to the manager. I doubt I’ll even get a response. Please please please HEED my warning. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SO CALLED RESTAURANT. You will be sadly disappointed. And might even get food poisoning. Everyone needs to call the health department & report this place. I know I am.
