About Lucky Buddha

Lucky Buddha is a Chinese restaurant located at 14270 W Indian School Rd c1 in Goodyear, Arizona. As a Chinese restaurant, Lucky Buddha aims to offer a variety of Chinese dishes to the local community.

Recent customer reviews present contrasting opinions. One customer expressed strong dissatisfaction, stating that the food quality was inferior to Panda Express. They mentioned that neither they nor their family enjoyed the meal, leading them to return the food for a refund, which was processed. This suggests potential concerns regarding the taste and quality of some dishes.

On the other hand, another customer had a positive first-time experience. They described the place as "nice" with a "very friendly staff." A notable feature they mentioned was Molly, a robot waitress, which they found entertaining. They also commented on the large food portions and found the sweet and sour pork to be "very good." Additionally, they enjoyed the veggie spring rolls but suggested they could be larger or offered in a greater quantity per order.

For local users considering Lucky Buddha, it appears to offer a unique dining experience with features like a robot waitress and friendly staff. The food portions are reported to be generous, and some dishes, like the sweet and sour pork and veggie spring rolls, have received positive feedback. However, it's important to note the significant negative feedback regarding overall food quality from another customer. You can contact Lucky Buddha at (623) 535-8387 or +1 623-535-8387 for inquiries or to place an order. The restaurant is situated on West Indian School Road in Goodyear.

For it to be a Chinese restaurant panda express is much better quality. I didn’t like it my family didn’t like it and I was asked to bring the food back for a refund. Which I gladly did.

First time here. Nice place and very friendly staff! Molly the robot waitress was entertaining. Food portions are big. Sweet and sour pork was very good! I also liked the veggie spring rolls. Would like them better if they were bigger or had more in an order.

Decent meal but missed a lot of targets. Got a dinner take out order - the good? Food was prepared quickly. I'd say the price is fair to slightly upcharged. The Beef Lo Mein was probably the favorite, had a good amount of flavor and serving size was good for the price. The Pad Thai was also a good portion but lacked flavor in comparison to our previous outings, average at best. The flat egg noodles just don't do it like the thin ones. The General Tso chicken, if you could call it that, tasted like sweet and sour chicken... It did not have the thicker consistency you would see from a joint on the East or West Coast, also instead of broccoli they throw in peppers and green beans. The breading/coating on the chicken was mushy and the fried rice tasted like stale white rice briefly tossed in soy sauce. This meal missed the mark all around, I've had a bigger portion with more flavor for about half the price... Finally, we got an order of fried dumplings as a side/app and they were also mushy. Seems like crisp is not something to expect. Not the worst experience and the staff is super friendly and helpful but the flavor and portions are lacking, especially for the price.

I can’t account for the service or the atmosphere, but the food was mid/okay. The chicken was very chewy and inconsistent plus the chow mein wasn’t cooked very well. I didn’t enjoy anything on the plate, but not extremely terrible. One of those meals I wish I didn’t have.

Stopped coming here almost 2 years ago because we noticed that the food started to look and tast different. Decided to give this place another chance and it did not disappoint. The food, the portions and service were on point and the menu has expanded a lot since the last time I dined in. We ordered fried dumplings as an appetizer, shrimp fried rice, pan fried noodles, honey walnut shrimp and mushroom beef. The portions were more than enough for a family of 4 and we ended up having leftovers to take home. I will be coming back here more often now.
