About Lu Xiang Village

Lu Xiang Village is a Chinese Restaurant located at 6650 Corporate Dr ste c in Houston, Texas. They can be contacted at (713) 271-6668 or +1 713-271-6668.

Customer reviews suggest that Lu Xiang Village is a popular spot among Chinese customers, which some interpret as a sign of authenticity and quality. While perhaps not the go-to for early morning Dim Sum, Lu Xiang Village stands out for its freshly made buns and douhua (tofu flower, served salty). The broth from the northern region is also highly recommended.

A significant feature of Lu Xiang Village is its variety of affordable and outstanding buns. They offer multiple types of fried buns, with one customer noting three varieties available at just $2.60 per bun. These buns are praised for their perfect balance of crispy and chewy textures and generous, savory fillings. The pork and cabbage and the pork and onion fillings were particularly highlighted as flavorful, juicy, and well-seasoned. Customers found the buns to be very filling, with two being sufficient for a satisfying meal, offering great value for the price.

In addition to fried buns, Lu Xiang Village also offers steamed pork buns, with one customer purchasing ten for $6.50 and finding them equally satisfying. The steamed buns are described as having a soft, pillowy texture and a hearty pork filling. While the overall experience was excellent, one reviewer mentioned a slight wish for chili oil to be available as a dipping sauce.

Overall, Lu Xiang Village is highly recommended for local Houston residents craving delicious and well-made buns at an excellent price. It appears to be a go-to spot for satisfying cravings for both fried and steamed buns, along with other Northern Chinese specialties.

Only Chinese customers here, that to us speaks as very good! We were looking for Chinese too early for Dim Sum. Freshly made buns & douhua ( Tofu flower salty) . Highly recommend the broth from the northern region.

Whenever I visit Houston Bellaire Blvd, I normally go to San Dong for pan-fried steam buns, but unfortunately, they ran out of them today, so I decided to try Lu Xiang Village instead. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of buns they had and how affordable they were. They offered three varieties of fried buns, and I got two of each at just $2.60 per bun. The buns were outstanding. Each bite had the perfect balance of crispy and chewy textures, with a generous amount of savory filling that really hit the spot. My favorite was the pork and cabbage, followed closely by the pork and onion. Both were packed with flavor, and the fillings were juicy and well-seasoned. The buns themselves were very filling—two were more than enough to satisfy my craving, making them a great value for the price. I also picked up 10 of their steamed pork buns for $6.50, which were equally satisfying. The steamed buns had a soft, pillowy texture and were stuffed with a hearty pork filling. While I loved everything I ordered, I do wish they had chili oil available for dipping, which would have elevated the flavors even more. Overall, Lu Xiang Village exceeded my expectations and is now on my list of go-to spots on Bellaire Blvd. If you’re craving delicious, well-made buns at a great price, I highly recommend giving them a try.

The food at this kitchen is delicious! The steamed buns are generously filled and taste amazing, and the stuffed pancakes are also incredibly tasty—though they're only available on Saturday mornings. The only downside is that I once found a piece of thread in a steamed bun. Other than that, everything else has been great.

best baozi, mantou you can get in the town, 200%better than any you can get from grocery store the frozen one. My personal favorite, String bean with Pork, so juicy. Red bean, the red bean sauce make by owner, not too sweet but you can totally taste the aromatic of the red bean itself, 5star recommendations.
