Lover's Egg Roll

Food was super good! We pre-ordered food to go and it was hot and ready to go when we got there. They gave huge portion sizes, I was honestly super impressed. This will be becoming our go to Asian take out spot.

Good morning. It has been a long time since I've been to lovers egg roll restaurant I decided to treat myself last night I'm so happy that I did. I'm in love chicken fried rice I get extra chicken you can't go wrong. My husband he wanted pepper steak. Like I said it's been a long time but one of the staff recognized that I haven't been there in a while I told him it has been a long time but I am going to take this opportunity to treat myself and took my meals home. Thank you for the service

Good tasty food reasonably priced. Take out and delivery available. Order at the counter food delivered to table. I enjoyed the lunch special of Mongolian chicken with an egg roll. Restaurant is clean and casual with friendly staff. There are locals who are regular customers and know the staff when ordering their regular.

Got the egg drop soup and cream cheese wonton. There wasn’t much to the diner, a little quiet and sad, though the owner seemed nice enough. The egg drop wasn’t good, too much corn starch it actually jiggled on my spoon, and why so yellow? It could use some green onion or more egg, something to give it life. The “crab Rangoon” was just wonton with cream cheese and no crab, and was fried too long, very dark. Very simple order, easy to make, but they need to try harder.

We were craving Lover's Egg Roll and went to the restaurant on Coit but they closed. We could have settled for another restaurant but instead drove to this Lover's to get our fix. Tasty as always with really good portions. Best local moogoo gai pan with lots of fresh vegetables. Still under some COVID procedures as they provide everything in to go boxes even if you are dining in, but since they give you more food then most people can eat that's a win-win.
