About Lotus + Cleaver
Lotus + Cleaver is a Chinese food vendor located within 1-800-Lucky, an Asian food hall concept at 143 NW 23rd St, Miami, FL 33127, USA. They can be contacted at (305) 934-4649 or +1 305-934-4649.
As part of the 1-800-Lucky food hall, the service model involves placing an order and receiving a transponder that will notify you when your food is ready for pickup. Diners then typically find seating in the shared outdoor area where music is often played, contributing to a lively atmosphere.
Customer reviews offer insights into some of their dishes. The Peking Duck Buns were noted to have good flavor, although they contained a significant amount of bun relative to the filling. The Char Siu Pork Ribs were also considered good, but one reviewer mentioned they prefer the ribs from their local Chinese restaurant.
A standout dish appears to be the Ho Fun Noodles, described as delicious rice noodles with pork, bacon, crispy rice bits, and a perfectly cooked poached egg. One reviewer specifically came to Lotus + Cleaver to try this dish after seeing pictures and reading reviews. While they felt the bacon might be unnecessary as the dish was already flavorful, they acknowledged its popularity. The noodles and poached egg were praised for being cooked to perfection.
It's important to note that 1-800-Lucky houses multiple food vendors offering different Asian cuisines. Customers order from Lotus + Cleaver specifically and then can enjoy their meal in the communal seating area.
One reviewer expressed interest in returning to try the Ramen, suggesting that Lotus + Cleaver might offer a broader range of Asian-inspired dishes beyond traditional Chinese fare.
For local users looking for a Chinese option within a vibrant Asian food hall setting, Lotus + Cleaver offers a convenient choice with dishes like the praised Ho Fun Noodles. The environment is communal and lively, with a self-service pickup system.

Customer Reviews
Located in 1-800-Lucky, an Asian food concept. You ordered and are given a transponder which rings when you food is ready. WE had the Peking Duck Buns, good flavors but lots of bun. Also had the Char Siu Pork Ribs, good but we get better at our local Chinese restaurant.
Delicious rice noodles with pork, bacon, crispy rice bits and a poached egg, end result, Ho Fun Noodles. Came here for that after reading a few reviews and slobbering all over myself looking at pics and clips of this dish. I'd say the bacon is overkill and not necessary at all because the dish is very flavorful as it is but people love bacon and why wouldn't they. The noodles were cooked to perfection and so was the poached egg which some joints tend to fail at. So this joint is actually a few joints together with different cuisines but all on the Asian side. You place your order, get it, then sit outside and enjoy some tunes. Gotta come back to try the Ramen which looks legit.
Not amazing, but not bad. I definitely agree that the portions are on the smaller side. $12 for 8 pieces of chicken. Food quality is pretty average. Scallion & egg fried rice was great. Pickles - great. Veggie lo mein - good. Sesame chicken...... could be better.
THANKFULLY, I didn’t even look at reviews before eating here, or else I may have tried another one of the spots directly next to it.... this was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time!! So much flavor and texture in both dishes myself and my wife ordered. It is just a tad confusing how some dishes pretty much require you to order a side of rice with it, but otherwise, fantastic experience. Would recommend for sure!!
Probably the best hoFun I've ever had: incredible umami!! Pickled veggies are also a must!!
