Lotus Chinese Cuisine is a Chinese restaurant located at 3716 W W.T.Harris Blvd in Charlotte, North Carolina. Based on recent feedback from customers online, it is important for local users to be aware of some concerns regarding the food quality and service experienced at Lotus Chinese Cuisine. Several reviews express significant dissatisfaction with recent orders, particularly concerning specific dishes and the overall value for money.

One customer reported a highly negative experience with the shrimp egg foo young, describing it as "sitting in a bowl of grease" and priced at $25. This same customer also mentioned a small portion of shrimp fried rice, costing $9.35, which contained only five small shrimp. Furthermore, this order was reported to be missing white rice and a spring roll, leading to the strong statement of "NEVER ORDERING AGAIN" and a sentiment that the restaurant deserved "ZERO STARS!" This feedback highlights potential issues with the preparation of certain dishes, portion sizes relative to price, and order accuracy.

Another review echoed similar sentiments regarding the quality of the food. This customer also ordered the shrimp egg foo young, describing it as "bland and greasy." Additionally, the fried rice was described as "terrible," tasting "nothing like Chinese fried rice," lacking flavor, and tasting like "old rice." This negative experience led to the customer throwing the food away and stating they "won’t be going back."

It is worth noting that one positive aspect mentioned in one of the reviews was the politeness of the person who took the order. The reviewer stated, "The lady who took my order was very nice. That was the best thing about this experience." This suggests that while there may be issues with the food preparation, at least one customer found the phone service to be pleasant.

However, the overwhelming sentiment from the provided reviews focuses on significant disappointment with the food itself. Concerns about excessive grease, lack of flavor, small portions with high prices, and missing items paint a picture that potential customers should consider. These reviews do not provide information about the restaurant's environment or any specific features beyond the food and basic service interactions.

Given the limited information and the strongly negative nature of the available reviews, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive introduction that highlights positive aspects or promotional information. The current feedback suggests potential inconsistencies in food quality and value. Local users considering Lotus Chinese Cuisine may want to take these recent experiences into account when making their dining decisions. It would be prudent to look for more recent reviews or perhaps try a small order to assess the current standards before placing a large order.

As an objective introduction based solely on the provided information, it is important to convey the concerns raised by recent customers. While past experiences may have been different, the most recent feedback available indicates potential issues with food quality, portion size, pricing, and order accuracy at Lotus Chinese Cuisine in Charlotte, NC. Potential patrons should weigh these factors when deciding whether to patronize this establishment.

The lady who took my order was very nice. That was the best thing about this experience. I order the shrimp egg foo young which as bland and greasy and the fried rice was terrible. Tasted nothing like Chinese fried rice. It had no flavor and tasted like old rice. Ended up throwing my food away. Won’t be going back.

The food is always letfover them the day before even the fried chicken. They just dropl in in the grease again to make it hot. If you do order from here make sure it's after 4pm by then all they leftovers from the day before should be gone.

I've ordered delivery from here numerous times and everytime I've asked for extra sauce to only get one pack of soy sauce and one pack of duck sauce no matter how much food I order which is ridiculous. Last night was my last time fooling with this place. I already knew their fried rice is nasty so I got white rice instead last night. How can a Chinese spot have nasty white rice too?
