The features of Lost Shoes Chinese Barbecue are where it truly stands out. While one reviewer found the barbecue skewers (specifically lamb and beef) to be "just ok" and noted some fatty pieces and a potentially off-tasting lamb piece, the restaurant's strength appears to lie in its other specialty dishes, particularly those featuring chicken bone. One enthusiastic reviewer expressed being "obsessed with chicken bone" and highlighted at least three variations available. The "regular chicken bone" was described as delicious, rubbed in a spicy cumin dry sauce. The "fried chicken bone" was also praised for being spicy and garlicky, making it a perfect accompaniment to beer.
Another unique feature highlighted in the reviews is the "tinfoil duck blood." This dish is described as having generous portions, filled with clear noodles, bean sprouts, and duck blood. The reviewer explicitly stated that "They don’t skimp on portions here," suggesting good value for money in terms of quantity for some of their dishes.

Customer Reviews
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lost Shoes Chinese Barbecue in Flushing, the experience was okay. Great service and but the food could use some improvement, the flavors didn’t quite meet expectations and the skewers were very dry. Worth a visit for the late night snack experience, but not a top pick for the food.
The skewers were just ok, got the lamb and beef and there were a lot of fatty pieces… one of the lamb pieces tasted sour. Their strong suit is definitely their other dishes, I am obsessed with chicken bone and they have at least 3 variations of chicken bone. The regular chicken bone was rubbed in spicy cumin dry sauce which was delicious. we also got the fried chicken bone which was spicy and garlicky and perfect with beer. Another dish I loved was their tinfoil duck blood. They don’t skimp on portions here and the tinfoil was filled with clear noodles, bean sprouts, and duck blood. I would definitely be back to try their other stir fried and specialty dishes. Come for the chicken ones! Beer is .99 for Budweiser and corona. The service was attentive and friendly.
Amazing food amazing service would recommend for people to experience Chinese bbq here in Murray hill.
Trash place. No service. We had keep asking for water and napkins and waiting. The food is decent at best. It says 20 percent if paid in cash, but instead they ask you post good reviews on social media on top of all in cash.
Very good Chinese bbq place
