About Lo-Fatt-Chow

Lo-Fatt-Chow is a Chinese restaurant located at 720 Monroe St C-103, Hoboken, NJ 07030, USA. They can be contacted at (201) 798-5050 or +1 201-798-5050.

This restaurant positions itself as serving "healthy" Chinese food, which means their dishes may differ from traditional American Chinese cuisine that is often heavier on sodium, artificial colors, and flavorings. One reviewer noted that if you expect this traditional style, you might be disappointed. However, this reviewer found the food to be good, tasty, and did not leave them feeling unwell after eating, considering it a solid option.

In contrast, another customer found the Sesame chicken and lo mein to have no flavor, while the Chicken with broccoli was just rated as "OK."

Another review simply mentioned that the restaurant's rating (3.8 at the time of the review) seemed accurate based on their experience.

For local users in Hoboken interested in trying a lighter or "healthier" version of Chinese food, Lo-Fatt-Chow presents this option. However, it's worth noting that some customers have found certain dishes lacking in flavor, so individual experiences may vary.

Bear in mind this place claims to make “healthy” chinese food. That said, it’s good. If you expect your traditional american chinese loaded with sodium, food coloring, and sauces with artificial flavors, you will be sorely disappointed. This food isn’t bad at all given that I eat it, it’s tasty, and I don’t feel horrible afterwards. All things considered, this is a solid spot.

Sesame chicken and lo mein had no flavor. Chicken with broccoli was just OK. As of this review this place had a 3.8 and now I know why lol

I have NEVER in my life ordered boneless ribs and just got DRY meat! Where is the sauce?!? And NOT the 2 duck sauces and 3 soy I got with 3 platters 🙄 thankfully I got the sweet and sour chicken with the most WATERY s&s sauce in the WORLD that I could share onto the other two platter of ribs. And fried rice WHERE? I got white rice with meat thrown into it. GROSS $45 worth of food including delivery 4 blocks away and for what? I should have WALKED to my usual place and got meals we could enjoy. First and LAST time I will ever eat here. Such a waste of money

Crazy delicious and much much healthier than any Chinese cuisine I’ve had. If you’re looking for high fat grade ,huge sodium and excessive batter, with MSG, you’re in the wrong place.
