Fresh Ingredients and Great Service The quality of the ingredients at Liuyishou really stands out. The beef was tender, the seafood was fresh, and the vegetables were crisp. The staff was super helpful in explaining the menu and recommending items. The broth was rich and flavorful, and I appreciated the variety of options for different spice levels. It’s a bit pricier than some other hot pot places, but the quality and experience are worth it!"

Another suggested stop by some friends, as their favorite HotPot in town. Liuyishou, didn't disappoint. From start to finish, they were attentive, quick to serve, fresh ingredients, wonderful flavors, filling, and priced fair for what you're getting. If Hot Pot is your thing, come check them out. The special broth had the perfect amount of flavor & spice. By the end of the meal, we were both sweating a little bit. Hehe. But if you like more heat, don't be afraid to ask for more. They can accommodate. The chicken broth was also amazing! It had such a robust flavor that I couldn't get enough of it. By the end I was mixing the two together and enjoying it my own way. The side bar, has everything from: seasonings, spices, vegetables, sauces, fruits, and more. You just have to grab a plate or bowl from under the bar and help yourself. The unlimited fresh watermelon drink just hit the spot as the perfect drink with the spicy special soup. This was another different item we really enjoy here. Parking can be difficult at times here, but there are multiple parking garages. Typically those are your best bets to get in and out quickly. Price I believe to be very fair for what you're getting. Fresh ingredients, fast service, and all you can eat for $30-$40 a person. That's hard to beat. We will definitely be back for more! Can't wait to try more of their variety of soup bases. What's your favorite? Any suggestions on the side dishes we should get? Until next time.

I’m utterly smitten with this hot pot haven! The soup is always perfectly on point, like they’ve cracked the code to liquid happiness. & the customer service? It’s so good, you’ll wonder if they’ve hired personal butlers for everyone!!! (:

I visited last week and tried the tomato broth—it was rich and flavorful, definitely worth a try. However, after adding the bone broth, the flavor became more average. The chicken broth recommended by the staff had a milky taste, which felt a bit unusual to me. The food overall was decent, but the dining environment wasn’t quite what I expected. The space looked larger in the photos, but we were seated near the storage and kitchen area despite there being plenty of available tables. It was quite noisy with the blender running and staff walking around frequently. It’s a decent spot if you’re nearby, but I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way just for this place.

This restaurant offers good food and a pleasant atmosphere, but there are a few things to keep in mind. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, so I recommend arriving early or calling ahead to join the waitlist. It’s a very popular spot, which is a testament to its reputation. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our server gave us excellent recommendations and made us feel comfortable and well cared for throughout our visit. As for the food, it seemed fresh and flavorful. I ordered the “Liu’s House Special Soup” as my base. While the flavor was good, it was too oily for my taste and felt a bit heavy on my stomach. If you have a sensitive stomach, I suggest trying a different option. My boyfriend chose the “Signature White Pepper Chicken Soup,” which had a nice balance of flavors and was much lighter. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but one major downside was that the plates and utensils were not thoroughly clean. Hopefully, it’s something they can improve, especially given how busy they are. One unique feature is that they don’t sell alcohol, but you’re allowed to bring your own, which is a nice touch. In summary, it’s a good place with tasty food and great service. Despite a few drawbacks, I would recommend giving it a try!
