Welcome to Liukoushui Chongqing Noodles 流口水重庆小面 /汤小福麻辣烫, a Chinese restaurant located at 19052 Stevens Creek Blvd, Cupertino, CA 95014, USA. As a part of the Chinese Restaurant category, Liukoushui offers a diverse menu featuring both traditional Chongqing noodles and the popular malatang (spicy hot pot) experience, also known as Tang Xiaofu Spicy Hot Pot. For inquiries or to place an order, you can contact them at (408) 216-0398 or via mobile at +1 408-216-0398.

Based on recent customer reviews, Liukoushui Chongqing Noodles & Tang Xiaofu Spicy Hot Pot appears to be a restaurant that offers tasty food, generous portions, and friendly service at an excellent price point. One customer who sampled several dishes, including the Hainan Chicken Rice, shredded chicken, pork trotter, and duck, reported that the Hainan Chicken Rice and shredded chicken were "great," while the pork trotter and duck were also "good." This suggests a level of quality across different types of dishes on their menu. The reviewer also specifically mentioned that the portions are "sizable" and the price is "excellent," indicating good value for money. Additionally, they noted that the place is "well lit," contributing to a comfortable dining environment.

The service at Liukoushui has also been positively highlighted. According to one reviewer, the service was "great," and the waitresses are described as "friendly and reliable." Their attentiveness was also noted, as they "often came to fill up tea," suggesting a commitment to customer comfort and satisfaction. Furthermore, the desserts were praised for being "well made and very tasty," indicating that the quality extends beyond the main courses to the sweet offerings as well. Based on this positive experience, the reviewer stated they "definitely would return again."

In addition to their standard menu, Liukoushui also features a malatang (spicy hot pot) section, which garnered immediate interest from customers who noticed its recent introduction. For those unfamiliar with malatang, one reviewer described the setup as similar to most other malatang places: customers select their desired ingredients, choose a soup base, and then the kitchen cooks it for them. At Liukoushui, both meat and vegetables are priced the same per pound. However, this reviewer pointed out a significant issue: "*all* of their labels are wrong." This could potentially lead to confusion for customers who are not already familiar with the various ingredients available. The ingredient selection was described as "decent" but not the "best variety" compared to other malatang establishments, with the reviewer specifically noting the absence of pork rice cake, which they prefer.

Despite the labeling issue with the malatang ingredients, the service for this dining experience was also praised. The reviewer reported being seated immediately and receiving clear instructions, which was particularly helpful as they were a first-time visitor to this location for malatang. They chose a variety of ingredients and opted for a medium spicy soup base. The food was cooked quickly and served promptly. The reviewer found the soup flavor to be "great," noting a noticeable spiciness that was well-balanced and did not overpower the other flavors. The ingredients themselves were "cooked properly," ensuring a good taste and texture for everything selected. Due to the convenient location and the positive malatang experience, the reviewer expressed their intention to return often, especially when craving spicy hot pot. They also mentioned a current promotion that resulted in their "big pot of goodies" costing under $15 (before tax and tip), indicating potential cost savings for customers taking advantage of this offer.

Based on these reviews, Liukoushui Chongqing Noodles & Tang Xiaofu Spicy Hot Pot offers a diverse culinary experience. Their traditional Chinese dishes, such as the Hainan Chicken Rice and shredded chicken, are well-received for their taste and portion sizes, offered at a competitive price. The restaurant also provides a welcoming environment with friendly and attentive service, including complimentary tea refills. Their desserts are also noteworthy for their quality and taste. The introduction of malatang adds another dimension to their offerings, providing a customizable and interactive dining experience. While there is a significant issue with incorrect labeling of the malatang ingredients, the overall taste and quality of the cooked malatang, along with the efficient service, seem to be positive aspects.

The environment of Liukoushui is described as "well lit," suggesting a bright and perhaps casual setting. The quick seating for the malatang customer also implies efficient management of the dining area. However, further details about the ambiance or decor are not provided in the reviews.

The services offered include both standard menu ordering and the self-selection process for the malatang. The waitresses are noted for being friendly and reliable, with attentive tea refills. The quick cooking and serving of the malatang also indicate efficient kitchen service. The provision of instructions for first-time malatang customers shows a helpful approach to service.

A key feature of Liukoushui is its dual offering of traditional Chongqing noodles and the malatang spicy hot pot. The positive feedback on both aspects of their menu suggests a versatility in their culinary strengths. The generous portions and excellent pricing are also significant features that appeal to customers. The friendly and reliable service further enhances the dining experience. However, the incorrect labeling of the malatang ingredients is a notable drawback that could confuse customers.

The promotion mentioned by one of the malatang customers, where a large pot of ingredients cost under $15, indicates that Liukoushui may offer special deals or introductory pricing for their new malatang service. Local users interested in trying the malatang should inquire about any ongoing promotions to take advantage of potential cost savings.

In conclusion, Liukoushui Chongqing Noodles 流口水重庆小面 /汤小福麻辣烫 in Cupertino offers a compelling option for those seeking tasty and generously portioned Chinese food at excellent prices. Their traditional dishes have received positive reviews, and their newly introduced malatang provides a customizable and flavorful experience. The friendly and reliable service adds to the appeal. However, first-time malatang customers should be aware of the issue with incorrect ingredient labels. Despite this, the convenient location and the positive overall feedback, especially regarding the food and service, make Liukoushui a restaurant worth considering for local users craving Chongqing noodles or spicy hot pot.

Saw there was a new malatang restaurant so had to come try it right away! This is the same setup as most malatang places... you pick out the ingredients, choose a soup base, then they cook it for you! For this place, they charge the same per-pound price for both meat and veggies. I do have to say *all* of their labels are wrong... so if you're not familiar with these ingredients, you may be quite confused. The ingredient selection is decent, but not the best variety I've seen. For example, they don't have the pork rice cake that I like :( Service was great, I was seated immediately and got some instructions since I've never been to this location before. I picked out a bunch of ingredients and chose medium spicy soup base. It was cooked quickly and served to me right away! The soup flavor is great - definitely taste the spiciness but it's not so much that you can't taste anything else. The different ingredients are cooked properly so everything tasted good! Since this is very convenient location, I definitely see myself coming back often whenever I have spicy pot cravings. They have a promotion going on so my big pot of goodies was under $15 (pre tax/tip).

The pork hock was pretty tasty and came with a decent portion. The hainan chicken was tender and flavorful. The price of these two items was way lower than the every charge in the area. The restaurant looked tidy. Bonus was we visited on a hot noon, and they had the AC running full speed! Only issue was parking could be a bit challenging.

Never had soup like this before. It's like 14 bucks for a pound of food. A lot of selections. Grabbed some meat and veggies 2 types of noodles and deff grabbed quail eggs. Picked the beef broth and it was amazing. They take your tray of food and add the broth you chose when it's all hot and ready they bring it to your table. Staff pretty friendly too. Came here with 7 of my friends and happy with the quickness of the meals being brought out

A wonderful restaurant, with dishes that are delicious and very homemade flavors. We love the egg coated crape with crispy wanton inside. The pork dishes with rice or noodles are great. The free tea they serve is fantastic. Service at the restaurant is spotty, as only two people were doing everything and super busy.
