Little Phoenix

11 brave seniors from Brightview Rolling Hills in Catonsville boarded the bus and enjoyed lunch at Little Phoenix. As a first time customer here in Maryland, I only had time to read the reviews before getting on the road. I read that portions were very abundant and I have to agree wholeheartedly! Also the flavors are amazing and you can adjust the spices to your own individual taste. Service was flawless, soups were hot as well as sides and entrees. There is a 20% tip included but I gave a bit more because the hostess was so efficient in getting the food out so smoothly and rang us up after insuring that we all had takeaway boxes with bags to carry them home.

Let me start off by saying I usually really enjoy the food here but yesterday was horrible. I placed an order online for Shrimp and broccoli, seasame chicken (white meat) and chicken fried rice and 4 spring rolls, all for $54 ($1 up charge for white meat). When I arrived the food was ready but the lady at the front stated that when I chose “white meat” I apparently selected it under my shrimp and broccoli entree and not the sesame chicken one, so she said they didn’t make it white meat. I thought to myself “common sense would know that was for the chicken since you can’t choose white or dark for shrimp) but I said okay because I didn’t feel like arguing about it (also forgot I paid the extra money for the white meat option). My boyfriend doesn’t eat dark meat so he went back in with the food and had them remake it, he said they did try to make him just take the food and said they would give the $1 back but he wanted them to remake it and so they did. So I find it ironic that the entree we had them remake was the one with the worm in it. This is disgusting! I almost feel like it was done on purpose . And we ate all of the fried rice and spring rolls just to find a worm or maggot in the food 🤮 I will not be eating here again.

When My Aunt Shirley was in a nursing home in MD I discovered Little Phoenix and it was where I, living in Tennessee could order for her in MD, and know she would love their pork lo mein, pork egg rolls, pork fried rice, won ton soup, noodles, and the delivery would be PERFECT, and the prices great! My Aunt passed away yesterday, and I am making sure I personally thank the selected few restaurants from where I could order her food from Tennessee. Shirley was very discriminating and of all the restaurants, Little Phoenix was her #1 Asian Food restaurant and we tried them all if delivered. When I would call them, they recognized my voice and knew exactly where to deliver and they were so sweet and wonderful. It was fun for me to call them. Her last meal from the outside was from here. Thank you, Little Phoenix for being there to bring joy to my aunt in a nursing facility where receiving great food from the outside absolutely helped her survive. Bless you all. Stay safe and well.

I ate at this restaurant many times before and it was fine. But just a couple of days ago when i was there, i ate some chicken fried rice and salt and pepper shrimp. Let me you tell i have never had the worst experience of my life after i ate the food. I was diagnosed with gastroenteritis. Today is the fifth day, that i have been feeling sick, diarrhea, vomiting, fever all in one. I went to the hospital because of this place. Please i recommend to anyone thinking to still going here to not go anymore. 🙏🏻

Delious food! Shrimp & vegetables one of my favorites! Shrimp mai fung delicious! Spicy shrimp sushi delicious! Moo good gai pan delicious! Everything I ever had was excellent!
