The environment at Little Kite is described as "quiet without being dead," suggesting a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere suitable for a casual meal. One reviewer noted that the presentation of the Chinese dishes was good, indicating attention to detail in how the food is served. However, there was a suggestion to turn off the television over the sushi bar, implying that it might be a minor distraction in the otherwise calm ambiance. Overall, Little Kite seems to offer a pleasant and unassuming setting for diners.

The services at Little Kite are a significant highlight, with one reviewer specifically noting the "friendly and accommodating service" as a major positive aspect, even warranting an extra star in their rating. This suggests that the staff is attentive, helpful, and strives to create a positive dining experience for their customers. Whether you have specific requests or simply need recommendations, the service appears to be a strong point of Little Kite.

The features of Little Kite include a menu that encompasses both traditional Chinese cuisine and a variety of sushi options. Regarding the Chinese food, one reviewer described it as "solid," praising the good attention to detail in the dishes they tried. The sauces were highlighted as being "on point without being too strong," indicating a balanced and flavorful approach to the cooking. The chicken in the Chinese dishes was also noted as being "cooked perfectly," suggesting a consistent quality in preparation. This makes Little Kite a reliable option for those seeking well-prepared and flavorful Chinese fare in the neighborhood.

The sushi offerings at Little Kite have received more mixed feedback. One reviewer found the nigiri to be "too cold" and the fish quality not exceptional, recommending that sushi enthusiasts stick to the rolls. However, they did enjoy a unique item called the "SF Giants roll," which featured soft shell crab on top – a distinctive addition not commonly seen. This suggests that while the traditional nigiri might not be the strongest suit, Little Kite offers some creative and potentially enjoyable sushi rolls.

Based on the limited review information, there are no specific promotional details mentioned for Little Kite. However, the positive remarks about the friendly service and the solid quality of the Chinese food can be seen as inherent draws for local customers. The unique SF Giants roll might also serve as a point of interest for those looking for something different in their sushi selection. As a "good neighborhood go-to," Little Kite likely relies on consistent quality and positive word-of-mouth to attract and retain its customer base.

In conclusion, Little Kite offers a neighborhood dining option in San Francisco's Mission District that combines solid Chinese cuisine with a selection of sushi. Food is really 3 stars, but +1 for the friendly and accommodating service. The nigiri was too cold and the fish wasn't great. If you're getting sushi here, stick to the rolls. I did enjoy the SF Giants roll, which is the only time i've ever seen soft shell crab on top of a roll.

Solid Chinese food place, with good attention to detail on both the dishes I tried. The sauces are on point without being too strong, and the chicken was cooked perfectly in both cases. Presentation was good, atmosphere was quiet without being dead. I might ask that they turn off the television over the sushi bar, but that's about it. Good neighborhood go-to.

Had some decent food there, but they served me old, strange tasting jasmine tea; tasted like it does when I leave water with the tea leaves for a day or so, and don't change it: bitter, soapy, and just...blah! I nearly lost my appetite. That honestly stole my trust for ordering things like fish, etc. I kept it basic and left. They seemed disappointed. The bad tea... destroyed my first impression here. I love this style of food though.

I ordered a delivery and couldn't even eat it. Fish was not fresh , first time I experienced that.

I think the reviews here are pretty spot on. I ordered the ramen and it was just okay. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. I was nowhere near able to finish the ramen. To me, the broth left something to be desired and the egg also looked odd. Staff was overall friendly and helpful. p.s the seaweed salad was delicious though
