This is a small family-owned Chinese restaurant. Overall, the restaurant is definitely older and not fancy, but the food is solid. They have great portions and flavors. Not overly salty or flooded with sauce. We get the sizzling rice soup and sautéed fish every time we come. Cleanliness can be a bit questionable at times, but we just ask for silverware or plates to be replaced, and they do it promptly without hesitation. Definitely will return.
Little Hunan is a hidden gem in the neighborhood. My wife found it as she went to deliver a package to a pail office next to the restaurant, and we decided to try it (after checking that it had a good rating on Google, of course). We loved the food and service. The place wasn’t busy, but we went at around 3 p.m. on a Saturday. My favorite dish was the beef with mushrooms—it was delicious! We’re adding it to our rotation.
Some of the best Chinese food you'll get for the money. It's always tasty, good portions, and comes out fast. The eggrolls are the best I've had in Dallas, and they're homemade on site. Occasionally you'll see the matriarch rolling them on a Sunday afternoon. I've had everything on the lunch menu, and everything has been good. Sriracha on the table helps you make it as spicy as you like. Here are my ratings on all the specials. These are of course based on my own tastes, so you may enjoy them more or less than me. I will continue filling these out throughout the year, as I work my way down the menu. Very nice place my family and I come here often. But I found a hair in my food today .. maybe have extra precautions next time . Let the front know and the said nothing about it . Still payed at full price but apologies would have been appreciated.
Returned to this family run restaurant after 18+ years after we moved away from the community. Unbelievable! Still sitting quietly at the corner of same streets, survived through the difficult pandemic, the same family running affordable and good taste restaurant. We tried the 2 dishes we used to order takeout for dinner after a long busy day work on our way home. Same taste! Sweet and sour ribs, tender, and bamboo shoots tofu and pork slices, yammy. The food from this place is like a private kitchen for your daily meals. Affordable, clean, and home made taste. 2-3 dishes are good amount for a family of 4. Pretty decent portions.
