About Little China Restaurant

Welcome to Little China Restaurant, located at 521 Yopp Road, Suite 117, in Jacksonville, North Carolina. As a local establishment within the Chinese restaurant category, Little China Restaurant aims to serve the Jacksonville community with a variety of Chinese culinary offerings. Situated on Yopp Road, it provides a dining option for those seeking Chinese food in the area. However, recent customer reviews indicate significant and concerning issues regarding the quality and safety of the food served.

Information regarding the specific environment and ambiance of Little China Restaurant is not detailed in the provided customer reviews. The focus of the feedback is overwhelmingly negative and centers on severe problems with the food itself. Therefore, it is difficult to objectively describe the dine-in environment based solely on the available information. For those considering dining at Little China Restaurant, the recent reviews strongly suggest caution, overshadowing any potential assessment of the restaurant's atmosphere.

Based on the customer reviews, Little China Restaurant offers takeout services, as both reviewers describe ordering food for consumption off-premises. One reviewer called the restaurant to request a refund for an order containing hair, indicating a takeout or delivery scenario. The second reviewer explicitly states they "ordered from Little China," implying a takeout or delivery order. To ascertain whether Little China Restaurant offers delivery services, their delivery radius, and any associated fees or minimum order amounts, it is recommended to contact them directly at (910) 238-4973 or +1 910-238-4973. However, given the serious nature of the food quality complaints, customers may be hesitant to place orders for any service type without significant improvements being reported.

The food at Little China Restaurant has received alarmingly negative feedback in the recent reviews, raising significant health and safety concerns. The first review reported finding a "small black hair" in their Singapore noodles. Upon calling the restaurant to request a refund, the customer was told they had to drive back with the untouched meal to show them, which they found inconvenient and stated they would not return or recommend the establishment. This incident points to a lack of hygiene in food preparation and a customer service approach that was perceived as unhelpful.

The second review detailed an even more disturbing experience, with the customer stating they received "basically raw food" after spending over $50. They reported that their Mongolian Beef was not prepared correctly, tasting like "Beef and Broccoli set in onion soup" instead of with green onions and white rice. The fried rice was described as having minimal ingredients and being "ice cold." Most concerningly, the egg rolls ordered were found to be "Raw," with an ice-cold center and barely browned outer shell. The reviewer also mentioned that their husband's Bourbon Chicken tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours, despite a short travel time from the restaurant. This review strongly suggests severe issues with food preparation, temperature control, and adherence to recipe standards, posing potential health risks to customers. The reviewer speculated that the presence of an earlier buffet service might explain some of these issues, but ultimately, they do not recommend the place at all.

The customer reviews for Little China Restaurant highlight extremely concerning issues with food quality and hygiene. The report of hair in food indicates a lack of care in food preparation. The more detailed review describing raw egg rolls, cold fried rice, and improperly prepared Mongolian Beef points to significant failures in cooking, temperature control, and ingredient accuracy. These are not minor issues but represent serious breaches of food safety standards that could have severe health consequences for consumers. The negative experiences are compounded by a perceived lack of adequate customer service in addressing these complaints, as seen in the handling of the hair incident.

Given the severity of the negative feedback regarding food safety and quality, it is challenging to identify any positive features of Little China Restaurant based on this information. The overwhelming concern is the potential risk associated with consuming food from this establishment as described by recent customers. Any potential positives, such as menu variety or pricing, are completely overshadowed by the alarming reports of hair in food and raw ingredients.

Currently, there is no information available regarding any promotional offers or special deals at Little China Restaurant. Given the critical nature of the recent customer feedback, it is unlikely that promotions would be a primary concern for potential customers. The immediate focus would understandably be on whether the restaurant has addressed the serious food safety and quality issues raised in these reviews.

In conclusion, the recent customer reviews for Little China Restaurant in Jacksonville, NC, paint a deeply concerning picture of the establishment. Reports of hair in food and, more alarmingly, raw and improperly prepared dishes indicate significant problems with hygiene and food safety. The negative experiences described are severe and should give potential customers considerable pause. Without evidence of substantial improvements in their food preparation and quality control, it is difficult to recommend Little China Restaurant based on the information available. For those who still wish to inquire about their menu, services (takeout, potential delivery, though dine-in is not discussed), hours of operation, and any possible promotions, they can contact Little China Restaurant at (910) 238-4973 or +1 910-238-4973 or visit them at 521 Yopp Rd #117, Jacksonville, NC 28540, USA. However, the strong negative feedback regarding food safety should be a primary consideration.

Hair in my food! Ordered the singapore noodles, and not even half way through I found a small black hair. I called the restaurant informing them of this and to request a refund. They said I had to drive back to the restaurant with the untouched meal to show them. Not convenient at all! Won't be returning or recommending

RAW FOOD. We just ordered from Little China for the first time based on the over 4 plus star review. Wish we never did order, wasted over 50 for basically raw food and left overs. I ordered Mongolian Beef but what I got was Beef that tasted like Beef and Broccoli set in onion soup. The Mongolian beef ingredients were completely wrong. It should be made with green onions not regular onions and served with white rice not fried rice. The fried rice had only a couple peas and carrots and both were ice cold as well. I was craving egg rolls so paid extra and I got Raw Egg rolls, center was ice cold and wrap was raw (barely brown on outer shell). My husband ordered Bourbon Chicken and he said it tasted like it had set under a heat lamp for hours. Considering he waited for the food and came right home (10 mins from the restaurant) it should have been fresh. We looked at their site and saw they serve a buffet earlier in the day so perhaps that explains some things. Don’t know for sure. We do not recommend this place at all.

This used to be so so good, but the couple times we've been here the general tso was way overcooked and the food has been horrible. I've spent alot of money here and won't be returning. I don't know if they have a new cook or what but I'm sad to say the food has changed for the worst. It's really too bad cause this used to be one of the best places in town.

I stayed open-minded to the reviews before going. The staff are very welcoming and overall the food is pretty good. Surprisingly the Bang, Bang shrimp and Satay Chicken were the best picks for me. From my experience with Szechuan Beef theres usually chili pepper pieces and it’s crispy? This dish was more of a watery consistency similar to broccoli beef but I would come back again and try a different dish.
