About Little Chef Asian Kitchen

Little Chef Asian Kitchen, situated at 6500 Springfield Mall, Springfield, VA 22150 (phone: (646) 510-7814 or +1 646-510-7814), offers a selection of Asian cuisine, with a focus on Chinese dishes. Customers have the convenience of ordering through platforms like Grubhub.

According to recent reviews, Little Chef Asian Kitchen serves food that is generally considered "pretty good" and fresh. The Chef Entree Plate, which includes General Tso's Chicken, Crispy Chicken, and Spicy Bourbon Chicken, has received positive feedback for its taste. Customers also appreciated the fried wontons and spring rolls included with their orders.

However, some minor drawbacks were noted. One customer found the bourbon chicken to be quite fatty. Additionally, the steamed mixed vegetables were described as disappointing by one reviewer and needing to be steamed a bit longer by another, although the latter still considered them "really good."

The pricing at Little Chef Asian Kitchen is reported to be normal for the area. Customers have found the staff to be friendly, and the service is generally quick.

The restaurant's location within Springfield Mall means it can get busy, particularly during mall hours, potentially making it difficult to find a place to sit. This suggests that it might be a popular spot, especially for shoppers looking for a quick and convenient meal.

Overall, based on the available reviews, Little Chef Asian Kitchen provides a decent dining experience with tasty and fresh-tasting food at reasonable prices. The friendly staff and quick service are also positive aspects. While there were minor issues with some dishes, the general consensus points to a not bad first experience and suggests it could be a reliable option for Asian cuisine within the Springfield Mall area.

Ordered a Chef Entree Plate with fried wonton and spring rolls via Grubhub. Arrived early, and the General Tso's Chicken, Crispy Chicken, and the Spicy Bourbon Chicken were all good. But the steamed mixed vegetables were disappointing.

- food was pretty good, everything seems like it was fresh. The bourbon chicken had good flavor but was pretty fatty which I don't like. The fresh vegetables needed to be steamed a bit longer but it was still really good. - prices are normal for the area. - staff were friendly and service was quick. - in the mail it can be busy and hard to find a place to sit. - overall not a bad first experience at this location.

I had my doubts about Little Chef, but during my recent visit to the mall, I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the incredible prices and generous portions. Wow! Every dish was perfectly seasoned, far from the usual soy sauce-heavy Chinese food. As someone who is Asian, I can confidently say that the flavors were authentic and well-balanced. My fiancé and I were thoroughly impressed, and we even had leftovers for dinner. I give it a perfect 10 out of 10! I highly recommend it and will definitely return!

Food is always really good. The rice noodles are tasty with a hint of curry. The dishes with broccoli are always cooked to perfection. Not raw broccoli like at Panda Express. The workers are always polite. Definitely good reasonably priced food court food.

This place is amazing! I'm surprised it didn't have a line down the entire hallways of Springfield Mall! I'm not a little Chef, I'm a big Chef and a knowledgeable food critic. I grade and rate restaurants hard, I never give 5 stars unless it's truly deserving a rating that high. I ordered their 2 entree & 1 side off their service bar for lunch today for my first time. Their tempora shrimp had a $1.50 upscaled price that I wasn't made aware of until I got to the register, but it was well worth it! (I had already eaten half of my food before I took this picture! They definitely give you plenty!) Their pepper chicken was also extremely good, although it could use a lot more fresh pepper, whatever they used was weak in flavor. The steamed vegetables were tasty also, not over cooked, and fresh! Lastly their simple lo-mein was just okay, a bit over-cooked but definitely edible. It's easy to get this dish over cooked on a hot bar. This place is definitely worth a try! I'll be back for more soon! -Chef Chris, restaurant consultant, owner.
