Driving through the area, we decided to stop at The Little Buddha at the Palisades Center for dinner, and it was a fantastic choice! The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making it a pleasant dining experience. I ordered the steamed vegetables with tofu, and it was absolutely delicious. The vegetables were fresh, perfectly cooked, and the tofu was tender and flavorful. I was also impressed by the variety of vegan options available on the menu, which catered well to my dietary preferences. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. Overall, The Little Buddha is a great spot for a tasty and healthy meal. Highly recommend!
Came with a group of 15 for hibachi for a birthday Good seating for large group Average hibachi experience overall. Server cracked an egg on one of our guest and got the yolk in their hair. He Sprayed another guest with sake. Not ideal for our group. Food was cooked well but lacked any flavor. Pricy for available options. +1 star for birthday song. That was fun. And they brought out desert.
Was super disappointed. First off the bathrooms were atrocious, I had watch multiple employees walk past and use them and didn’t bother to fix the obvious problems. Like trash and toilet paper all around, piss on the seat, and soap missing from the dispenser. Secondly, don’t bother getting the Fried Rice. This was the first time I have ever gone to a hibachi steakhouse and had to pay extra for fried rice! AND IT WAS $4 MORE PER PERSON. The service had only cracked one egg for a table of 8, and vegetables were almost not existent in the rice as well. 3rd the service was tuff to get a hold off for drinks so we didn’t even bother getting anything else but water, felt very rushed for a 8 pm reservation. Finally we were forced to give a 15% tip which wasn’t deserved to the restaurant, only to our cook. But our cook as absolutely amazing, full of energy and enthusiasm. Made new and use the classic jokes you will see at hibachi restaurants. Cooked all the meats as requested. And made the whole experience better than set up to be.
This used to be a good spot for Hibachi. Now the service is rushed, the food is just ok, they charge for refills but do not tell you that they do and they add an automatic gratuity to your bill (15%). TIPS ARE FOR EXEMPLARY SERVICE and should be left to the customer to decide. Smh
We have been going to this place for couple years now but I never got to rate it. We were so happy we found this place back at the time but since then every visit it got worse. Service went down badly, including the cook that was making our hibachi. Compare to other places we visited this hibachi experience wasn’t entertaining at all. Atmosphere is also kind of weird. Even on a busy Friday night it’s empty and just awkward, low music is playing, u can hear other people talk, feels like you’re in the food cafeteria. Another thing that really bothered me there is no working a/c in the place, it’s enough that heat is coming from a stove but no conditioner makes it so much worse, by the time we finished eating we were all sweating. Food quality also became poor, maybe that has to do with who prepares it but the fact that it all tastes blend no matter what u order, it’s tasteless. I don’t know what happened to this place it used to be our favorite spot but not anymore. We will have to find a different hibachi place for our family dinners.
