About Little Beijing

Little Beijing is a Chinese restaurant situated at 550 Workman Mill Rd in La Puente, California. As a part of the local Chinese Restaurant category, Little Beijing offers a range of Chinese cuisine to the community. This introduction aims to provide a detailed overview of the restaurant based on recent customer feedback available online, covering aspects such as the environment, services, and featured dishes.

Based on the limited reviews provided, specific details about the environment of Little Beijing are not extensively described. One review mentions a feeling that the restaurant should have more customers, which might indirectly suggest a potentially quieter or less crowded atmosphere during certain times. However, without more direct descriptions, it is difficult to paint a comprehensive picture of the restaurant's ambiance or decor. Local users visiting Little Beijing can likely expect a standard Chinese restaurant setting focused on providing a comfortable space for dining.

In terms of services, Little Beijing appears to offer both dine-in and potentially takeout options, although this is inferred from the nature of the positive review where the customer mentions ordering a "small party pack" of chow mein. This suggests that they cater to families and larger orders for off-site consumption. The review also praises the "lady" at the restaurant as "super sweet and cool," indicating friendly and positive customer service. This personal touch seems to be a notable aspect of the service provided at Little Beijing, contributing to a pleasant dining experience.

One of the standout features of Little Beijing, according to a highly positive review, is their pineapple shrimp. This dish is explicitly recommended as the "Best pineapple shrimp!!!!" suggesting it is a specialty and a favorite among patrons. The reviewer's enthusiasm highlights the quality and taste of this particular offering. Another feature mentioned is their chow mein, which is popular even with children, as the reviewer states their kids "only eat the chow mein." The availability of a "small party pack" for this dish indicates that Little Beijing can accommodate larger orders, making it suitable for families or small gatherings.

However, it is important to acknowledge a contrasting review that raises concerns about the quality of a chicken dish. This review describes an unidentified item that the customer suspects might be cartilage, noting its unusual texture and appearance, "starching out like a noodle and leaving those holes." The customer expresses uncertainty and hopes they are mistaken, but the comment introduces a potential issue with the consistency or quality of certain meat preparations. This feedback suggests that while some dishes are highly praised, there might be inconsistencies in the quality of other items on the menu. It is crucial to consider both positive and negative feedback to form a balanced perspective.

Currently, the provided reviews do not contain any specific promotional information or special offers from Little Beijing. The feedback focuses on individual customer experiences with particular dishes and the service encountered. Therefore, details about discounts, special menus, or ongoing promotions are not available in this context. Local users interested in such information may need to contact the restaurant directly.

In conclusion, Little Beijing in La Puente appears to be a Chinese restaurant known for its well-received pineapple shrimp and family-friendly chow mein options, coupled with friendly service from at least one staff member. The positive review suggests a local gem deserving of more recognition. However, a separate review raises a concern regarding the quality and composition of a chicken dish, indicating potential inconsistencies in food preparation. Local users considering dining at Little Beijing might want to try the highly recommended pineapple shrimp and chow mein while being mindful of the feedback regarding other dishes. The personal and friendly service seems to be a significant positive aspect of the restaurant. For those interested in learning more about their menu or any potential promotions, contacting Little Beijing directly at (626) 855-1656 or +1 626-855-1656 would be advisable.

Best pineapple shrimp!!!! Lady is super sweet and cool! I love this place! My kids only eat the chow mein so I order a small party pack and we all eat more than enough. This place should have so many more costumers than this see there as well as reviews. This review is very much deserved, and so does s your tummy for that food.

Great little local chinese food place, seems family owned & operated. We love their soups & combo plates! Support small business! If you got a flu or sick try the combo meat noodle soup or wonton soup! Great portions & price isn't too bad.

Pretty good food and flavor. Only reason why I gave it 4 stars was because although I waited in line and still gave it more than enough time for my phone. Cashier waited until I was ready to leave and then said if I was ready. With an attitude.

Nice enough people and with a small menu. The menu, however, doesn’t have anything for vegetarians. I was surprised and disappointed but that is just one thing. The rice was a bit dry near the end of the day, so you probably have to come earlier. The beef and broccoli and Kung pao chicken are okay. The chow mein does not have much flavor, and I question why the noodles are so bright orange. Lastly, I did not like the egg rolls. It just felt squishy to me when eating, and that can be a huge turn-off. I was able to eat my food but we are not saving any of it for leftovers. It all goes today.
