About Little Beijing
Welcome to Little Beijing, an Asian restaurant located at 41863 CA-74 in Hemet, CA. While categorized broadly as a Chinese Restaurant, Little Beijing distinguishes itself by offering a diverse menu that also includes Mongolian and some Thai food options, catering to a wide range of Asian food preferences within the local community of Hemet. Situated on California State Route 74, it serves as a convenient takeout spot for those in East Hemet and surrounding areas.
Based on customer reviews, the environment of Little Beijing is primarily geared towards takeout service. One reviewer noted that the restaurant "doesn’t really have seating," which suggests that the focus is on preparing food for customers to enjoy off-premises. This lack of seating apparently created an atmosphere reminiscent of "a pandemic restaurant" where tables were used for spacing rather than dining. This strong emphasis on takeout indicates that customers should expect a quick-service format where orders are placed and picked up, rather than a traditional dine-in experience. The popularity of the spot, with a line "almost out the door" during the dinner rush, suggests that despite the lack of seating, Little Beijing is a frequented establishment for takeout in East Hemet.
The primary service offered by Little Beijing is takeout. Customers can place their orders either by phone at (951) 658-7078 or +1 951-658-7078, or likely in person at the counter. Given the lack of seating, the operational model appears to be centered around efficient order preparation and hand-off for customers to take their meals elsewhere. One reviewer mentioned that the "lady that helped us was cashier, server, and cook all in one," indicating a small and possibly family-run operation where staff members handle multiple roles to ensure smooth service. While delivery service is not explicitly mentioned, it is possible that they offer it through their own means or via third-party delivery platforms. Local users are advised to inquire directly about delivery options when placing their order.
A notable feature of Little Beijing is its diverse menu, spanning Chinese, Mongolian, and some Thai culinary traditions. This allows customers with varied tastes to find something appealing. According to customer reviews, the quality of different dishes can vary. One reviewer found the Pad See Ew to be "flavorless" and the fried rice "lacking veggies and egg," leading to an "underwhelming" experience. This suggests that not all dishes may meet every customer's expectations in terms of flavor and ingredients.
However, another reviewer had a more positive experience with specific items. They highly recommended the "GOOD MUSHROOM CHICKEN," praising the perfectly cooked mushrooms with a "grilled taste." Despite noting that the chicken in this dish was "a bit overcooked" and contained "semi-burnt crisps," the reviewer still seemed to enjoy the overall flavor. The chow mein was described as "nice and thick" with good flavor. The "best part" of the meal for this reviewer was the teriyaki chicken, which was reported as "perfectly cooked." Additionally, the egg rolls were strongly recommended as "delicious." This mixed feedback indicates that while some dishes might be inconsistent, others are well-received and considered highlights of the menu.
Another interesting feature mentioned is the availability of Thai tea selections, further emphasizing the restaurant's venture into Thai cuisine alongside its Chinese and Mongolian offerings. This provides an additional beverage option that is popular with many who enjoy Asian food.
Promotional information available from the reviews includes a mention of a popular "family meal" priced at $39.99. The contents of this family meal are not specified, but it suggests that Little Beijing caters to families looking for a convenient meal option at a set price. This could be a significant value offering for larger groups or families in the Hemet area. Beyond this family meal, no other specific promotions or discounts were mentioned in the provided reviews. Local users may want to inquire directly with the restaurant about any other ongoing specials or deals when placing their orders.
In conclusion, Little Beijing in Hemet offers a unique blend of Chinese, Mongolian, and some Thai cuisine, primarily catering to takeout customers due to its limited seating. While customer reviews present a mixed picture regarding food quality, with some dishes like the Pad See Ew receiving negative feedback and others like the Mushroom Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, and Egg Rolls being praised, the restaurant appears to be a popular choice in East Hemet, especially during peak hours. The availability of a family meal for $39.99 is a notable offering for larger groups. Potential customers are encouraged to explore the menu, keeping in mind the varied experiences reported by others, and to contact Little Beijing directly at (951) 658-7078 or +1 951-658-7078 for any specific menu inquiries or to learn more about current promotions and their offerings across Chinese, Mongolian, and Thai culinary styles.

Customer Reviews
I got pad see ew. Unfortunately there was no flavor. The noodles were bland looking with no color. The fried rice was also lacking veggies and egg. Wouldn’t come back. It was underwhelming. Felt like a waste of money. The prices were reasonable. The customer service was okay.
GOOD MUSHROOM CHICKEN! The mushrooms are perfectly cooked and they have a grilled taste almost. However, the chicken was a bit overcooked like it stayed in the warmer too long. I had tiny granules in my mushroom chicken of semi-burnt crisps. The chow mein was nice and thick, flavor wise it’s good. The teriyaki chicken was the best part! Unlike, the mushroom chicken, it was perfectly cooked. I also strongly recommend the egg rolls, they’re delicious! This takeout spot is pretty popular in East Hemet and it had a line almost out the door during the dinner rush. Service was good, the lady that helped us was cashier, server, and cook all in one! The restaurant doesn’t really have seating which is a shame, it felt like a pandemic restaurant (you know, when tables were scarce and they were used for providing space between you and the glass). Interestingly, this takeout spot serves Chinese, Mongolian and some Thai food! They even have Thai tea selections. A popular order here is the family meal which is $39.99. All return, but I probs won’t get the mushroom chicken next time!
My boyfriend and I recently moved to Hemet and we were thrilled to discover this amazing Chinese food spot. Let me start by saying that the food here is absolutely delicious! We are big fans of Chinese cuisine and this place exceeded our expectations. The portions at this restaurant are impressively big, and what's even better is that the prices are very reasonable compared to other places. It's a great value for the quality and quantity of food you get. We were pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was. One dish that we absolutely loved and highly recommend is the coconut shrimp. Normally, we don't order shrimp from Chinese restaurants, but this place knows how to cook it to perfection. The shrimp was juicy, flavorful, and had a delightful coconut coating. It's a must-try! Overall, we cannot express enough how much we enjoyed dining at this Chinese food spot. The flavors of the dishes were on point and the portions were generous. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable. If you're in Hemet and craving some delicious Chinese food, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed! We're already looking forward to our next visit.
Noodles taste like burnt metal, same with the rice. Only good thing was the chicken but the fact that the noodles and rice tasted bad just made me not want it anymore. Their shrimp also has this metal smell to it.
Very clean nice restaurant friendly employees and some real good chow mein. But the spicy orange chicken & the regular orange chicken are both mushy the teriyaki chicken is okay just kinda dry. Will be back. I just hope they get some better beef dishes. Because I don't like broccoli beef. And that was all they had. Oh yeah they have some good vegetable egg rolls. 4 for $2. That's only .50 cents a piece. Great deal.
