Based on recent customer reviews, experiences with Ling Express appear to be mixed. One customer reported a negative experience involving a missing item (rice with pork) from their order. They stated that upon contacting the restaurant, they were informed the missing item was still at the restaurant but would incur an additional charge for both the rice and redelivery, despite already having paid. This customer expressed extreme dissatisfaction and indicated they would not order from the restaurant again. They also described the chicken broccoli as flavorless and the sesame chicken as lacking chicken entirely, deeming their entire Uber Eats order as unsatisfactory and a waste of money.

Conversely, another customer shared a more positive experience, particularly regarding Ling Express's lunch specials, which they found to be a great value at around $10, especially for those working nearby. This customer tried the orange chicken, plain fried rice, and an egg roll. They found the orange chicken to be good, albeit heavily breaded, and the egg roll to be excellent and not too oily. However, they described the plain fried rice as basic, lacking egg or scallions, and somewhat dry. Despite this, they mentioned being open to trying other rice options in the future, as the rest of their meal was satisfactory.

These contrasting reviews suggest that while Ling Express may offer affordable lunch options that are convenient for local workers, there might be inconsistencies in order accuracy and food quality. Local users should weigh these experiences when deciding whether to utilize Ling Express's meal delivery services.

Lings is near a lot of people's workplace so the Lunch Special Hits!! When you have a 10 dollar bill in your pocket you can't beat it. I tried their orange chicken 🐔 and plain fried rice with an egg roll. The chicken was good, heavily breaded. The egg roll was fire, not too oily like some places. But the fried rice was just that fried rice, no egg no scallions no nothing and was somewhat dry. Maybe I'll try another style of rice from there, bit everything else was good to go.

Lings Express is our go to when we want Chinese take out, hands down. The food is always on point, the prices are great, and they get order ready in just the right amount of time. Their General Tso’s Chicken and Beef Lo Mein are our choices every time, their Chinese donuts and egg rolls are awesome. I’d definitely recommend Lings Express if you are looking for some good take out in the Valrico / Brandon area. Plus the staff are nice too!

This is got to be the WORST Chinese food in town, I ordered here yesterday via DoorDash and they have an unbelievable 4.7 rating on there so I thought the food must be good. NO, DoorDash’s rating system must be flawed because only the good ratings appear at first glance, but actually read them and they are bad. The food had NO flavor, the eggs rolls are frozen from a store as well as the dumplings, and the “broccoli w/ garlic sauce” is definitely not right, it should be brown and garlicky, it had red sweet and sour type sauce for the garlic sauce….soooo not right. And the “fried rice” was literally brown tasteless rice….i will NEVER eat here again I feel like I was deceived and had my money stolen..LEE HOUSE IS THE BEST SPOT FOR CHINESE!!!

If I could give this place no stars I would. I ordered via the web for delivery. While I take no issue about how quickly our order arrived (less than an hour at lunchtime on a Thursday) I will say the food was a waste of my money. I'm half Asian and I grew up eating rice so it's a staple in my diet. How you manage to screw up rice I don't know but it was awfully undercooked and had a plastic taste to it. We also ordered the Happy Family which literally made me sad and gave me a migraine. I specifically asked for No MSG on my order. The Happy Family was overly salty and the promise of the seafood on it was the allure. Alas the imitation crab log was "off" and had to be spat out. There was no lobster, even though it is listed in the ingredients, and there were only 2 shrimp. I'm not sure what they did to the carrot to make it taste the way that it did but it was so inedible it also had to be spat out. Kudos to the restaurant for using fresh and not frozen broccoli but it was very "al dente" in the Orange Chicken dish. The breading was a gloppy mess by the time we received it and while I give them props for attempting to include real orange rind in the dish it just made it shockingly bitter and frankly the whole dish was a congealed mess save for the undercooked broccoli. They did manage to not screw up the fortune cookies :D And lastly the pork lo mein was overly salty but more edible than the other dishes we ordered. I won't ever order from here again. I have tried other Chinese places in Valrico and this one is on the bottom of the list. I know it has glowing reviews and maybe the kitchen was having an off day but my stomach literally hurts after trying to choke down lunch and I have to go lie down and hope my migraine goes so I can get back to work. They might not directly use MSG but their sauce base definitely has it and it has caused a severe reaction. They should be really careful in the future about using any products that have MSG. And lastly please don't order extra rice. we are now stuck with a quart of rice we can't eat because it tastes so bad.
