About Lin's International Buffet

Lin's International Buffet, located at 7915 W Loop 1604 N, San Antonio, TX 78254, provides a diverse dining experience with a focus on seafood and a wide range of international buffet options. You can contact them at (210) 476-5027 or +1 210-476-5027.

The restaurant is known for its extensive seafood selection, including crawfish, shrimp, and crab, which are generally well-received for their flavor and preparation. The boiled shrimp and well-seasoned crawfish, accompanied by corn on the cob, offer a mini seafood boil experience. Fried options like fried shrimp and breaded seafood bites are also available.

Lin's International Buffet features a sushi and cold bar with a variety of rolls, including salmon, tuna, and vegetarian options. While the presentation is appealing, some reviewers note that the freshness could be improved. The seafood soup is highlighted for its light yet flavorful profile, with a prominent shrimp taste and hearty vegetables.

The buffet also offers a selection of vegetables and salads, including fresh lettuce, cucumber, and marinated carrots. However, inconsistent labeling of ingredients is a point of concern for those with dietary restrictions or allergies.

Main courses include fried fish with a crisp coating and flaky interior, often served with lemon slices and steamed broccoli. The restaurant’s diverse offerings also include noodles, which have been noted for their good flavor and lack of excessive oil.

While the overall variety is appreciated, some reviewers suggest improvements in ingredient labeling and the freshness of certain dishes, particularly during peak hours. The service is generally described as friendly, though the music volume may be loud for some patrons. The pricing is considered reasonable for the variety of food offered.

In summary, Lin's International Buffet provides a broad range of dining options, with a strong emphasis on seafood. It offers a satisfying all-you-can-eat experience, suitable for those who enjoy variety.

had lunch at Lin’s International Buffet today and was impressed with the variety of options, especially for seafood lovers like me. Here’s an overview of some highlights from my meal: 1. Seafood Selection: The buffet featured crawfish, shrimp, and crab, all of which were flavorful and freshly prepared. The boiled shrimp had a nice texture, while the crawfish was well-seasoned. The inclusion of corn on the cob alongside seafood made it feel like a mini seafood boil experience. 2. Fried Options: The fried shrimp and breaded seafood bites were crispy and satisfying. They paired well with the dipping sauces available at the buffet. 3. Sushi and Cold Bar: The sushi options were diverse, including rolls with salmon, tuna, and vegetarian ingredients. While the sushi presentation was appealing, the freshness could have been better. 4. Soups: The seafood soup was light yet flavorful, with a prominent shrimp taste and hearty vegetables. It made for a great starter. 5. Vegetables and Salads: The buffet offered a good range of salads and vegetables. I particularly enjoyed the fresh lettuce, cucumber, and marinated carrots. However, labeling for ingredients was inconsistent, making it hard to determine what some dishes contained. 6. Main Courses: The fried fish was cooked well, with a crisp coating and flaky interior. The addition of lemon slices and steamed broccoli as sides was a nice touch. While the selection is impressive, I feel improvements could be made in two areas: First, clearer labeling of ingredients is essential for people with dietary preferences or allergies. Second, the freshness of some dishes (like the sushi and a few warm items) could be enhanced, especially during peak hours. Overall, it was a great experience for an all-you-can-eat buffet, and I’d rate it 4/5. I would recommend this place for anyone who enjoys variety and seafood.

Really don't know how to review this place. The food was fine and service was very friendly. Music was a little to loud. We tried a couple of items and none were bad but also nothing great. These bowls should cost closer to $8.50-12. For that price I would possibly go back. Between our two families we ordered 7 different things. Our favorite was the side of noodles. Had great flavor and not to oily.

60 food options, including hot and cold crab legs, sushi bar, seafood boil, Ramen bar, huge selection of Dim Sum, all your favorite Asian dishes. They even have frog legs, fried scallops, soft shell crab, and plenty of fruits and salads. Plus it’s a beautiful restaurant with chandeliers and extremely nice staff!

For the price in the weekend completely not worth it. Mind you my expectations weren’t high to begin with. This place isn’t hitting anyone. Yes you have a variety of choices but trust me your better off without. Basic things like the corn on cob was cold in the center. Nothing special on Chinese chicken options and the steak had a bad odor. I was wondering why the cook gave me 2 pieces of meat, I think it was to try and get rid of them quickly as the meat had a foul odor. Save your money get something else! Below is the price for 3 buffets

14.99 kind of a lot for a lunch buffet. Also kind of small I was expecting something like Asian star idk bigger but they offer about as much food in a smaller circle. Most reviews said tamper your taste expectations this is a buffet, but EVERY SINGLE THING I HAD WAS GOOD! reason i'm writing this review. I need hot oil and hate when restaurants just have that garlic chili paste, and lins had some of the best hot oil ive ever had, there's a lingering umami flavor I think it's sesame oil it makes everything it touches so much better. Egg drop soup was delicious and thick. Rice lo mein jalapeño chicken were all great! And sometimes Chinese buffets make the cream cheese wontons too sweet to keep people from eating so many, or put sprouts or something weird in the egg rolls to keep people away, none of that here! Pro tip, people complaining about temperature here have never worked in a restaurant before 🙄 yes the food on top can be cold that's why you stir it! I stirred the egg drop over and over before I poured it and it was piping hot the entire time I ate it. Amazing. Same thing with lo mein, rice, and especially the jalapeño chicken! The sauce tends to sink to the bottom especially it's a lighter sauce just the nature of Chinese food so give it a good stir! The flavor was amazing the chicken crispy and tender at the same time. All of the food items served hot are on trays sitting over steam, but some foods are good insulators and the top gets cold like Rice and noodles. That's why cooks always give those foods a good stir, so any complaints you see on here about cold food are user error im sorry its the truth. Highly recommend Lins
