About Lin's Grill Teriyaki House

Welcome to Lin's Grill Teriyaki House, a Chinese restaurant located at 11650 Sudley Manor Dr in Manassas, Virginia. Serving the local community, Lin's Grill Teriyaki House offers a diverse menu that includes both classic Chinese dishes and Japanese-inspired teriyaki options. We aim to provide a range of choices to satisfy different culinary preferences in the Manassas area.

Based on recent customer reviews, experiences at Lin's Grill Teriyaki House appear to be varied. One customer shared a significantly negative experience, detailing multiple issues with a recent order. This order included hibachi chicken, beef in black bean sauce, pork egg foo young, and wonton soup, with a complimentary chicken lo mein. According to this review, the chicken lo mein had an unfavorable flavor, and the pork egg foo young was described as undercooked and mushy. The wonton soup was also criticized, with the wonton dough reportedly disintegrating, suggesting potential issues with preparation or the age of the ingredients. While the hibachi chicken was deemed acceptable in taste, the reviewer expressed concern that the chicken pieces provided were scraps and grizzle, implying that better cuts might be reserved. Notably, the beef in black bean sauce was not even tried due to the unsatisfactory nature of the other dishes. This customer reported spending over $50 and being thoroughly disappointed, citing a lengthy delivery time of one and a half hours and stating they would not order from Lin's Grill again. They went on to recommend other Chinese restaurants in the vicinity, China Village and Wu’s Garden, as potentially more decent options for the Manassas area, and suggested venturing to Fairfax or Annandale for a more authentic Chinese culinary experience.

In contrast, another customer shared a more positive, albeit limited, experience. This reviewer, who arrived in a tractor-trailer (noting the maneuvering difficulty), found the restaurant itself to be clean. They also commended the cashier for being friendly and helpful in assisting with their lunch decision. This customer ordered the teriyaki chicken and shrimp bowl with noodles and chose to eat inside the restaurant. They described the dining room as small and noted that the food was served quickly, allowing them to eat within their 30-minute break. This positive feedback highlights the potential for a clean environment, friendly service, and quick food preparation, at least in some instances or for specific menu items like the teriyaki bowl.

Considering these contrasting reviews, it is important for local users to weigh these experiences when deciding whether to dine at or order from Lin's Grill Teriyaki House. The negative review raises significant concerns regarding the quality and preparation of several Chinese dishes, as well as the delivery time and value for money. The positive review offers a different perspective, focusing on the cleanliness, cashier's friendliness, and the speed of service for a teriyaki dish consumed on-site.

As Lin's Grill Teriyaki House offers both Chinese and Teriyaki cuisine, the quality and customer satisfaction may vary depending on the specific type of dish ordered. The positive review specifically mentions the teriyaki chicken and shrimp bowl, suggesting that this might be a more reliable option for some customers. However, the detailed negative feedback covers a range of popular Chinese dishes, indicating potential inconsistencies in their preparation and quality control.

For local users considering Lin's Grill Teriyaki House, the information suggests that while some aspects like cleanliness and cashier friendliness might be positive, there are potential risks associated with food quality, particularly with certain Chinese dishes, and potentially with delivery times. It might be prudent to consider these points and perhaps try a simpler order initially, such as a teriyaki dish, if choosing to experience this restaurant based on the limited positive feedback available.

Lin's Grill Teriyaki House is located at 11650 Sudley Manor Dr, Manassas, VA 20109, and can be contacted by phone at (703) 365-2603 or +1 703-365-2603 for inquiries or to place orders. As no specific promotional information was available in the provided reviews, local users may wish to contact the restaurant directly to inquire about any current specials or offers.

In conclusion, Lin's Grill Teriyaki House in Manassas, VA, presents a mixed picture based on recent customer feedback. While one reviewer praised the cleanliness, friendly service, and quick preparation of a teriyaki dish, another detailed significant issues with the quality of several Chinese dishes and a lengthy delivery time. Local users should consider these contrasting experiences when making their dining decisions and perhaps exercise caution when ordering a wide variety of Chinese dishes based on the available information. Trying a specific item like a teriyaki bowl might be a way to gauge the restaurant's offerings personally.

Take heed to the bad reviews. Ordered hibachi chicken, beef in black bean sauce, pork egg foo young, wonton soup, and received a free chicken lo mein. The lo mein did not have a good flavor. The egg foo young was undercooked and mushy. The only thing that tasted okay was the hibachi chicken, but you can tell they trim the chicken and probably keep the good cuts for themselves and give customers the scraps and grizzle. I’ve never had a wonton where the dough just disintegrates. Either wonton wasn’t made correctly or the dough is old. We didn’t try the beef in black bean sauce. After trying the egg foo young, wonton soup, and lo mein we lost our appetite. Spent over $50 and totally disappointed sadly. Also took an hour and a half for food to be delivered. Will not order from Lin’s Grill again. I would recommend China Village or Wu’s Garden which are the only 2 Chinese restaurants that are somewhat decent for the Manassas area we’ve had so far. If you want authentic go to Fairfax or Annandale.

I came here with a Tractor Trailer and it was a tough to maneuver. The Restaurant it self was Clean. The Cashier was friendly and helpful with My decision for Lunch. I got the Teriyaki chicken and Shrimp bowl with noodles. I decided to eat in the restaurant. It was a small dining room. The Food came out quick. I was able to eat within My 30 minute break.

This is the third time in a row that the food was TERRIBLE. They used to be very good, but something has happened. I order trolls and get cold tiny spring rolls and they didn’t even put sauce in the bag. Stay away.

We have ordered from here a couple times before. Both times, it was fairly good. I don't normally write reviews but this time I had to because we were not sure what we were eating. We ordered Sweet and Sour Pork and this is what came. (See pictures) Hardly any meat in it. The fried batter was white, dried, and hard. I'm guessing they used old, possibly expired, batter? After eating a couple bites, we ended up tossing the whole thing. Very disappointing. New to this area I wanted to make this place our usual Chinese restaurant.

I was a frequent repeat carry-out customer, but no more. Forgot to bring in a coupon for egg rolls, so she removed them from the bag. Take a look at her fingernails the next time you're there. No tip given, no return business.
