About Leeann Chin

Welcome to Leeann Chin, a Chinese restaurant located at 1730 New Brighton Blvd in Minneapolis, Minnesota (55413, USA). As a part of the Chinese Restaurant category, Leeann Chin aims to provide a variety of Chinese culinary options to the local community. You can contact them at their phone number (612) 706-1830 or their mobile number +1 612-706-1830 for inquiries about their menu or to place an order for takeout or potential delivery.

Recent customer reviews for this specific Leeann Chin location paint a concerning picture regarding value, customer traffic, and online ordering experiences. One reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction with the restaurant's current offerings, stating that the portion sizes have been "significantly reduced" while the prices have increased. They specifically mentioned the noodle bowls, suggesting they are now so small that they are only suitable for a small child, leading to the conclusion that there is very little value for money at this establishment. This customer believes that many other restaurants in the area can offer more food for a lower price, indicating a potential issue with the competitiveness of Leeann Chin in terms of both quantity and cost.

Another brief but pointed review commented on the apparent lack of customers during the lunch hour, observing "one or two other people." This low customer traffic during what is typically a busy dining time raises concerns about the restaurant's current popularity and sustainability, with the reviewer suggesting that the location might face closure in the near future. This observation could be indicative of broader issues affecting customer satisfaction and repeat business.

A third customer shared negative experiences specifically related to the online ordering system and delivery service. They described the website as "terrible," recounting two unsuccessful attempts to use an online reward (outside of the mobile app), where the reward was not applied to their charges on either occasion. Furthermore, this reviewer reported a complete failure in delivery on one instance, where their food was never delivered. They had to call the restaurant and spent approximately 15 minutes on the phone to obtain a credit. This series of issues with the online platform and delivery reliability suggests significant shortcomings in the restaurant's digital services and order fulfillment processes, leading to frustration and inconvenience for customers.

Based on these recent reviews, it is challenging to provide a positive introduction to this particular Leeann Chin location. The feedback points to several critical areas of concern, including a perceived reduction in food quantity coupled with increased prices, a noticeable lack of customers during peak hours, and significant problems with the online ordering system and delivery service. These issues collectively suggest a decline in the overall customer experience and value proposition offered by this restaurant.

Information regarding the environment of the restaurant is not directly provided in these reviews. However, the comment about very few customers during lunch hour might imply a quiet or even somewhat uninviting atmosphere. The focus of the feedback is primarily on the tangible aspects of the transaction – portion size, price, and the reliability of ordering and delivery – rather than the ambiance of the dining space itself.

The services offered by this Leeann Chin location presumably include takeout and potentially delivery, as mentioned in one of the negative reviews. The issues highlighted with the online ordering system indicate that while this service is available, its functionality and reliability are questionable. The fact that a customer had to call to rectify a non-delivery issue suggests that their customer service in handling such problems might also be a point of concern, particularly regarding the time taken to resolve the issue.

Features that are typically associated with Leeann Chin as a chain, such as a menu offering a variety of Chinese-American dishes including noodle bowls, rice dishes, and various meat and vegetable entrees, are likely still present at this location. However, the negative feedback regarding the portion size of at least one of these items (noodle bowl) diminishes the perceived value of these features. The availability of online ordering and a rewards program (though currently problematic, according to one review) are also features that Leeann Chin generally offers.

No positive promotional information is mentioned in these reviews. In fact, the feedback suggests a negative trend in value due to reduced portions and increased prices. The issues with the online rewards program also indicate a potential failure in leveraging loyalty programs to incentivize repeat business. Local users would need to independently verify if there are any current promotions being offered at this location, perhaps by checking their website (with the caveat that it was described as "terrible" by one reviewer) or by calling the restaurant directly.

In conclusion, recent customer reviews for the Leeann Chin located at 1730 New Brighton Blvd in Minneapolis, MN, raise significant concerns. Customers have reported reduced portion sizes with increased prices, very low customer traffic during lunch hours, and serious issues with the online ordering system, including failures in applying rewards and even non-delivery of food. These negative experiences suggest that potential customers should approach this location with caution and perhaps consider other dining options in the area that may offer better value, more reliable service, and a more satisfactory overall experience. It would be prudent to seek more recent reviews from various platforms to ascertain if these issues persist or if any improvements have been made. As of the latest feedback, this Leeann Chin location appears to be struggling to meet customer expectations in several key areas.

They’ve significantly reduced the portion size while increasing the price. There is no point in ordering a noodle bowl, it’s for a small child. There is very little value here, many other restaurants can offer more for less. One or two other people during lunch hour? This place is going to close in the near future.

The website is terrible. Twice now I have attempted to use a reward online (not in the app) and neither time has it been applied to the charges. Additionally, they never delivered my food one time and I had to call and get a credit after about 15 minutes on the phone. C'mon man.

Great quick Asian food without a drive-thru. Extremely clean environment. Prompt proactive staff. I encourage to take advantage of the award program through the app and/or phone number. The chocolate dipped fortune cookies are Mando. Ask for chili sauce and the sweet& sour appetizer sauce.

Food is good as always. But person at the front, gave half a scoop of food and refused to put more when asked. No way I should be paying 16$ for a meal and only getting half a scoop of meat.

Quick service, it usually isn't very busy here. The flavors are good, but sometimes the chicken isn't the best and will "chunk" together. When this happens, it's very chewy and is not fun to eat. It is however, very clean and the staff are friendly. Not too bad, if you need a quick bite and feel like chain store "asian" food.
