About Lee's Garden
Welcome to Lee's Garden, a Chinese restaurant situated in the San Pablo Towne Center, serving the local community of San Pablo for a significant number of years. As a well-established member of the Chinese Restaurant category, Lee's Garden offers a range of Chinese cuisine to local users. Located at 107 San Pablo Towne Center, San Pablo, CA 94806, USA, Lee's Garden has garnered a reputation among some as a reliable spot for both individual meals and catering for larger events. You can reach them at (510) 307-4338 or their mobile number, +1 510-307-4338, for inquiries or to place an order. While specific details about their environment and recent promotions are not extensively available online, the provided customer reviews offer insights into the experiences of long-term patrons.
Lee's Garden has clearly established itself as a long-standing presence in the San Pablo dining scene, with one reviewer mentioning visiting the establishment for years. This longevity often indicates a level of consistency in their food and service that has fostered customer loyalty over time. For local users seeking a familiar and perhaps traditional Chinese dining experience within the San Pablo Towne Center, Lee's Garden presents itself as a seasoned option.
Regarding the environment, the provided reviews do not offer specific details about the restaurant's ambiance or decor. However, the mention of friendly interactions with the "ladies in the front" suggests a welcoming and courteous initial point of contact for customers. It is likely that Lee's Garden provides a comfortable and functional setting for diners to enjoy their meals, typical of many neighborhood Chinese restaurants that prioritize the food and service.
In terms of services, Lee's Garden appears to offer both dine-in and potentially takeout options, given its nature as a traditional Chinese restaurant. A significant service highlighted in the reviews is their catering for big parties. One long-time client specifically mentioned ordering trays for large gatherings, noting that they are "reasonably priced" and provide a "quite a bit" of food. This suggests that Lee's Garden is a viable option for local users in need of catering services for events, offering both value and quantity.
The quality of the food at Lee's Garden is generally viewed positively by long-term customers. One reviewer stated that the food is "very good," indicating a consistent level of satisfaction with the taste and preparation of their dishes over the years. This positive feedback from established patrons suggests that Lee's Garden offers a reliable culinary experience that keeps customers returning.
However, one of the provided reviews raises a concerning issue regarding potential inconsistencies in portion sizes based on the gender of the customer. This reviewer recounted an experience where they paid the same price as men in line for three items but received "less than half the amount." This serious allegation, if accurate, points to a significant disparity in service and potential unfair treatment. It is important for prospective customers to be aware of this reported experience, even as other long-term patrons report positive experiences.
Despite this concerning report, another long-time client emphasized the importance of courtesy and friendliness, suggesting that reciprocal positive behavior can lead to good service at Lee's Garden. This indicates that, for many, the interactions with the staff have been pleasant and satisfactory over the years. The differing accounts highlight the complexity of assessing the overall service quality based on limited reviews.
The fact that Lee's Garden has maintained a clientele for many years suggests that they have done many things right, particularly in terms of food quality and catering services. The positive feedback regarding the front-of-house staff from one long-time customer also indicates that courteous interactions are a common experience for some. However, the serious allegation of discriminatory portioning cannot be ignored and presents a point of caution for potential new customers.
Given the limited information available, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of Lee's Garden's environment and any current promotional offers. The primary insights come from the experiences of past customers, which present a somewhat mixed picture. While the restaurant has a history of serving the community with good food and reasonably priced catering, the reported issue of potential gender-based discrepancies in portion sizes is a significant factor that prospective customers may wish to consider.
In conclusion, Lee's Garden is a Chinese restaurant in the San Pablo Towne Center with a long history of service. They are known by some for their "very good" food and reasonably priced party trays, making them a potential option for catering needs. While some long-term customers report positive experiences with the service, a concerning review highlights a significant issue regarding potential unfair treatment in portion sizes. Local users considering Lee's Garden may want to weigh these varying experiences when making their decision.

We have been visiting Lee’s garden for years! As in any place, if you are courteous and friendly so will the folks serving you. We have never had a bad experience with the ladies in the front. The food is very good. Have ordered from them for big parties and the trays are reasonably priced and they give you quite a bit. Very long time client.
I have been going here for about 10 years and always tip one dollar for each waitress working at the time. There are some new waitresses. I went in and paid the same price as the men in line for three items. I ended up with less than half the amount the men were given for the same three items. stealing, hatred toward and discrimination againt women? Petty theft?
The absolute worst tasting food I have ever tasted . Horrible no flavor at all hard stale and old like it's been stored for at least a week then left out overnite and that's what the rude lady is serving to people as she yells Cho man or fry rise and in a hurry to get it over with while she is on the phone as well the she grabs the c.c machine and has the nerve to give it back with the tip screen showing and yells tip or no! Just please do yourself a favor and NEVER EAT THERE !!!Don't even give it to the dogs AWFUL.
Worst place to get urself Chinese food NOTHING WAS FRESH THAT I GOT. OLD SHRIMP OLD NOODLES N FISH please don’t go here their another shop called Chinese food in that place where you can get fresh cooked food
I wish I'd read the reviews before going in. I was in a rush going to the ups shop next door so I decided to get some chinese. Very big portions of very bad food. I ended eating only the chow mein. Even when I took my food to go they asked for a tip. DO NOT ASK FOR THE PORK RIBS, they taste like freezer. Also, they will give you A LOT of chow mein/rice and very little food and that's ok because that's the only edible thing. I'm not even mad, just sad that they have to be like this to keep in business. If I had to come back again I'll probably ask what is fresh and prepared today and get that.
