About Lee’s Garden

Lee’s Garden is a Chinese restaurant situated at 7400 Gratiot Rd in Saginaw, Michigan. Operating under the platform category of "Chinese Restaurant," it aims to provide Chinese cuisine to the local community. However, recent customer feedback available online paints a concerning picture of the dining experience at this establishment, particularly regarding food quality, taste, and freshness.

Information regarding the environment of Lee’s Garden Restaurant is extremely limited based on the provided customer reviews. Neither review offers any description of the interior décor, cleanliness, or overall ambiance of the dining area. Therefore, it is not possible to provide an objective introduction to the restaurant's environment based on the available information.

Similarly, the reviews do not offer much insight into the services provided by Lee’s Garden. It can be inferred that they likely offer takeout, as one review mentions an order that included appetizers and a main dish. It is also possible that dine-in service is available, as is typical for many Chinese restaurants, but this cannot be confirmed based solely on the provided feedback. The lack of positive comments about service might also be noteworthy.

The features of Lee’s Garden, as described by recent customer experiences, are overwhelmingly negative. One reviewer used strong and visceral language, stating "Vomit !!! Whole meal tasteless other than BURNT PAN SMOKE ." This suggests a fundamental issue with the preparation and taste of the food, with a dominant flavor of burnt pan smoke overpowering any intended flavors. The same reviewer also described the "Appetizers" as "disgusting and burnt," further indicating significant problems with the cooking and quality of the food. The reviewer expressed uncertainty about the identity of the items on their dish ("Not even sure what was what on the dish !"), implying a lack of recognizable ingredients or a poorly prepared presentation. This customer emphatically advised others to "Pass this place and go to HOUSE OF FORTUNE 🤮," indicating a severely negative overall impression.

The second review corroborates the issues with food quality and also raises concerns about freshness. This customer shared an image of what was supposed to be a shrimp appetizer, accompanied by "old lettuce." The reviewer also ordered "garlic chicken" and reported that "the chicken was old ." These comments suggest that Lee’s Garden may be serving food that is not fresh, potentially using old ingredients, which is a significant concern for food safety and quality. Furthermore, this customer mentioned that "No refund given," indicating a lack of satisfactory customer service in addressing complaints about substandard food.

The specific items mentioned in these negative reviews include shrimp, crab rangoon, egg roll (as part of an appetizer), and garlic chicken. The severely negative descriptions – "tasteless," "burnt," "disgusting," "old lettuce," and "old chicken" – paint a concerning picture of the food quality at Lee’s Garden based on these recent experiences. The lack of positive feedback to counterbalance these strong negative claims is notable.

There is no information available in the provided customer reviews regarding any promotional offers or special deals that Lee’s Garden might be running. Therefore, it is not possible to include any details about promotions in this introduction. Local users would need to contact the restaurant directly to inquire about any such offers.

In conclusion, the recent customer feedback for Lee’s Garden in Saginaw, MI, located at 7400 Gratiot Rd, is extremely negative. Both reviewers reported significant issues with the taste, quality, and freshness of the food, with descriptions including "tasteless," "burnt," "disgusting," and "old." One review also mentioned receiving old lettuce with an appetizer and being denied a refund for unsatisfactory food. These serious concerns should be carefully considered by local users when deciding whether to patronize Lee’s Garden. The lack of any positive recent feedback in the provided information further underscores the severity of these issues. Potential customers may want to exercise extreme caution and consider alternative Chinese restaurants in the area based on this recent and strongly negative feedback.

For local residents in the Saginaw area seeking Chinese food, the reviews for Lee’s Garden at 7400 Gratiot Rd present significant red flags. The reported issues with burnt food, tasteless meals, old ingredients, and poor customer service in handling complaints should not be taken lightly. Given the strength and consistency of the negative feedback in these recent reviews, it would be advisable for those looking for a reliable and enjoyable Chinese dining experience to consider other options in Saginaw. The lack of any positive counterpoints in the provided information makes it difficult to recommend Lee’s Garden at this time. Potential customers might want to seek more recent and diverse reviews from other sources before making a decision.

The guy who took my order over the phone was rude. He was rude to my husband when he picked the order up, which took twice as long as the time given on the phone. And the “garlic chicken” I received was not like any garlic chicken I have ever had. Looked and tasted like chicken soup with garlic added to it.

This has been a horribly nasty restaurant for 10+ years. The person below talked about pan smoke. Everything is drenched in oil and tastes like smoke just like the other guy said.
