About Lee's Chinese Fast Food
Lee's Chinese Fast Food is a Chinese restaurant located at 235 S Pacific Ave A in San Pedro, California. As a fast-food style Chinese restaurant, it aims to provide quick and convenient Chinese cuisine to the local community. They can be contacted at (310) 521-8868 or +1 310-521-8868 for orders or inquiries.
Based on the available customer reviews, Lee's Chinese Fast Food has received mixed feedback regarding both its food quality and service. One customer expressed significant dissatisfaction with the food, describing it as lacking flavor and being "insanely greasy." This reviewer specifically mentioned that there was "so much grease coming up the side of the bowl" that they were unable to finish their meal. Furthermore, they described the "beef egg roll" as being "a burst of oil," leading to the entire meal being thrown away. This strongly negative feedback highlights potential issues with the preparation methods and the resulting oiliness of the food.
Another customer had a more neutral initial impression of the food, stating that "food was good." However, this positive comment was overshadowed by a negative experience with the service. This reviewer described the service as "not welcoming or nice," indicating a lack of hospitality from the staff. This can significantly impact the overall dining experience, even if the food itself is perceived as satisfactory.
The same reviewer also recounted a disruptive incident that occurred while they were eating inside the restaurant with their family. According to their account, two women entered the establishment claiming to have been given a counterfeit $20 bill and demanding their money back. The receptionist reportedly was initially unwilling to refund the money and went to call the manager. Upon returning without an update, the two women allegedly threatened to call the police if they were not reimbursed. Subsequently, the receptionist decided to give the money back, and the women left, leaving the fake $20 bill behind. This incident, while not directly related to the food preparation itself, created a negative and potentially uncomfortable atmosphere for other customers dining in the restaurant.
The fact that a dispute over a counterfeit bill was handled in front of other customers and involved threats of police intervention suggests a lack of professionalism in managing such situations. This incident could deter potential customers who value a peaceful and orderly dining environment.
Regarding the environment of Lee's Chinese Fast Food, the provided reviews offer limited insights. One reviewer's comment about the excessive grease in their meal might indirectly suggest a less-than-ideal kitchen environment or cooking practices. However, there is no direct mention of the cleanliness, decor, or overall ambiance of the dining area itself. The second reviewer mentioned eating inside with their family, indicating that dine-in service is available, but provided no further details about the setting. Therefore, it is not possible to provide an objective description of the environment based solely on the given information. Local users interested in the restaurant's atmosphere may need to visit to form their own impression.
Similarly, the reviews provide limited information about the services offered by Lee's Chinese Fast Food. While dine-in and presumably takeout are available (given its "fast food" designation), other potential services such as delivery or specific amenities are not mentioned. The incident with the counterfeit bill highlights one aspect of customer interaction, but it does not provide a comprehensive overview of the service standards beyond the initial unwelcoming demeanor reported by one customer. Local users seeking information on the full range of services should contact the restaurant directly.
Furthermore, there is no mention of any promotional offers or discounts in the customer reviews. The feedback focuses on the food quality and a specific service-related incident. For any current specials or promotions, it would be best to contact Lee's Chinese Fast Food directly at the provided phone numbers or check if they have any online presence where such information might be advertised.
In conclusion, Lee's Chinese Fast Food in San Pedro has received mixed feedback from its customers. Concerns have been raised about the food being excessively greasy and lacking flavor, with one reviewer describing a particularly unpleasant experience. Additionally, the service was described as unwelcoming by one customer, and a disruptive incident involving a dispute over a counterfeit bill occurred in the dining area. While one reviewer found the food to be "good," the overall sentiment leans towards negative due to issues with food quality and service. The reviews do not provide details about the restaurant's environment or any promotional offers. Local users considering Lee's Chinese Fast Food should be aware of these reported issues and may want to exercise caution based on the recent feedback.

Lacks flavor and insanely greasy. There was so much grease coming up the side of the bowl I couldn’t finish my meal. The beef egg roll was a burst of oil. Meal was thrown away.
Food was good. But service was not welcoming or nice. Me and my family ordered food and ate it inside. Then two ladies came in because they claim to have been given a fake 20. And wanted their money back. The receptionist didn’t want to give the money back and decided to call the manager. Walked away to call the manager and returned given the two ladies no update. They threatened to call police if not given their money back. She decide to give the money back and they left leaving her the fake 20 dollar bill.
Neighbor used them for catering. We stopped in for lunch. You cannot beat Chinese food for its value. You get so much food. And it all tastes wonderful. Salt and pepper fried chicken, yes please.
Perfect food, lovely portions, heartwarming prices. Nice ppl, family thing. Enjoyed my visit
The spicy won ton soup is the best in all of San Pedro. Great flavor & plenty of it👍
